I was vapein away last night on my trusty minis when one took the notion to somehow stick in the fireing position ? Immediately pulled the battery and began to identify the problem. Now before you all jump in and give me the usual give it a good bath I had given them all a good bath and cleaning earlier in the day :p Secondly I am not a masher and prefer the use of my index finger as I have better feeling in it than my thumb.

Now im a tinkerer so I have to tear it down to figure it out worse case scenario I tear it down and Rob gets a box full of pieces and a sob story probably not his first

Jump to my conclusion somehow the pin inside the firing button had shifted and become wedged not allowing button to move ? Once I had completely removed the button through the inside of the mod I was unable to realign it and get it to up any further than the pin. Pin seems to have shifted so it was protrudeing out both sides of button so useing a pair of needle nose pliers I shifted pin so it was flush on one side and sticking out the other still no go. Finally removed pin completly and voila problem solved just no off position anymore which is cool with me.

Just felt the need to share but have only had a 1/4 cup of coffee this morning so dont expect much

What an event! Taking that little black box off is something I won't allow myself to do. But others have as you and end up fixing a small problem.

Strange that the pin shifted on you. I don't recall hearing about that happening to that extent before.

Glad your tinkering got it all fixed up!

I can guarantee it's not his first but, just getting in there to the pin isn't really complicated. Actually pulling it apart completely isn't that bad once you understand how the firing pin is attached. However, I know Rob gets a few in ziploc bags.
