My starter kit did not show up on Friday as expected (ordered from V2 on Monday and chose 2-3 day priority), so I was stuck with analogs Friday and Saturday night. Just posting to take a quick look at my banner stats before creating a new one.

I am proud, however, to state that I vaped through an all day Sunday drinking session and never picked up a single analog. Have not touched one since I received my equipment!

Some people try vaping and find that they still need to smoke. Most of those find that they smoke only a few, but the habit persists. If that happens to you, don't despair. Lots of vapers hang on to a few for quite a while before deciding that vaping is better and can take away the rest of them

I did that for two years and decided one day to quit. I found out that those last 6-8-10 cigs a day had no hold on me. Quitting them and vaping a little more heavily when I had thoughts of smoking worked just fine. it's been a month and 3 days since my last cig and those days have been without cravings. You will get a little mental trigger from time to time as your brain tells you, "This is when you used to smoke. Don't you want one?". Say no and pick up the PV. You will be surprised as you leave them behind with no problems.

Looks like the new banner updated on the old post. Sucks to start from square one.

Yeah......I know about having to update stats from square one. It IS a bummer. I felt so bad when I had to do that, that once I updated my stats, I never had another analog. I didn't want to have to do it again.

Glad you're 'on the mend' again. :D

Don't sweat it! Stumbles are normal, especially if you run outta juice or equipment! I finished my last 3 packs of cigis after I started vaping. Not because I wanted to smoke them or ran out of juice - nope, just couldn't find it in my heart to throw them away and as long as they were there, I would've smoked them anyways, I think, as the beginning was hard but I made it. No cigis since a few days after I started vaping. The banner is not right, though. I didn't save anything yet - I'm having too much fun ordering juices and accessories... LOL!

Thanks for the heads up, Wabbein. Their site looks like 510s only...any idea if the new store will 808 cartos?

Not sure if they'll carry the 808 cartos when they open their store. I've called their contact number and was able to talk to them, and even get a sneek peek at the store.
You could also try getting an 808 to 510 adapter.

Congrats to you!! It has been 48 days since my last stinkie...so glad I quit. I guess I'm lucky because I don't crave them, they actually are really gross to me now. I do have a question...I'm noticing that my liquids are tasting different to me...especially in the evening...I'm allowed to vape at work so...I think I may be vaping too much?? I clean my carts/atty's regularly and buy replacements when I can. Is this normal??

There's no shame in having trouble getting to a stopping point with smoking. The shame would be if you gave up. Vaping will take those cigs away from you. Just put your faith in the ecig and let it cut you down to lower and lower levels. One day you will smoke your last one. For some of us those last few took a year or two to stop.

Cold turkey is the hard way. Cutting down in stair steps is the secret for those who don't want to give it up all at once.

hi the one thing i was going to say dont ever feel guilty during this process because the fact of the matter is your trying to quit and you should be proud of yourself for even trying even cutting back is better than nothing and if you look at this like your only human and going to make mistakes you are more likely to be able to quit so good luck and im rooting for all of us
