I didn't soak or wash it. I did lube the o-rings with juice. But that doesn't seem to matter much.

Maybe the o-rings had a reaction to the juice you put on them. It is a Chinese clone so there is no telling what the o-rings are actually made of... I doubt they are of any quality at all. They use the cheapest materials in mfg'g everything. Maybe you should source some good o-rings for it before you give up on it.

I feel great about having the SXK in transit ......

I removed 1 of the 2 o-rings and now it works flawless
