Has anybody else had a bad experience with Halo? I ordered a 7ml bottle of the Captain Jack to try it out and it was absolutely vile. It tasted like an old, stale cigar. Idk if it's just the flavor but it kinda has me turned away from Halo.. Anyone else have any good or bad experiences with Halo?

That's good to hear.. I hope it was just that liquid cuz the other liquids on the site look really intriguing.. I was really excited for it to come in the mail because from all the reviews they said it was a very harsh hit and I used to smoke about a pack and a half of marlboro reds so I thought it might be helpful but instead it was just overall disgusting.
ive had good dealings with halo. i got there sample pack just for the tin in came in lol. most of their flavors are complex and taste horrid at first. couldnt stand fredom juice at first but i couldnt stop once it steeped abit
I let the captain jack steep for about 2 weeks before I touched it and still nasty and my wife complained about how it smelled.
The first bottle of juice I ever bought was Halo Longhorn. Nice sweet tobacco flavor. (Like most noobies I just HAD to have a tobacco flavor.) After, I bought some 10 different flavors to try but kept going back to the Longhorn. I finished it this morning and stopped at a local B&M and was trying some different ones when I stumbled on Captain Jack. I wasn't too thrilled at first but I wanted something different than the Longhorn. I bought a bottle of Captain Jack and have been vaping it all morning and into the afternoon. It's growing on me. Not as sweet as the Longhorn but definitely doesn't taste like a stale cigar. Don't give up on Halo. Try the Longhorn.
Lol alright.. I may give it another go since I did just get a pair of egos from my dad. Hopefully the kanger t3's will help it out some. Or I may just try it out in my drip tip.. Hmmmm. Lol

My favorite of all of them was the Menthol Ice. It was a simple flavor that wasn't over kill.
To me the Tribeca, Torque and Prime all tasted about the same. The taste to me was bad, real bad. I've had them for a couple weeks. My plan is to let them sit a while (steep) and see what they taste like then. Tiki Juice and Malibu were pretty good. I probably wont buy either again, but its not because they were nasty.
I tried a chocolate from them this weekend that was pretty good. It was in one of their cartomizers which isn't a bad delivery system, but it's not the same as a clearo/tank set up. I would like to try some of the chocolate in something like that.
I wouldn't give up on Halo. Everyones tastes are different and they are bound to have something that suites your palette.

I've ordered their Belgian Cocoa and it is incredible. Still have little more than half of the 30mls I bought, as I tend to 'enjoy' the vape, meaning I vape it rarely as a treat. I'd assume the flavor you ordered just isn't your cup of tea. Try waiting a while and if that doesn't help, than its just not for you. As a vendor, though, they do have some amazing flavors. Just gotta find what works for you.
NOOOO I shoulda reached out further I must warn the world...Captain Jack is horrible I had it today and midnight apple also disgusting and im sumwhat of a halo liquid fanboy lol
When i was starting i looked up many reviews...I think back to the captain jack ones and i now say they are dam liars paid by halo no way anyone would willing vape that stuff lol
Tribeca,Torque,Prime 15, Great tobacco flavors (the best to me) These 3 are always in my arsenal along with Subzero and kringles curse.
Menthol Ice is good too but Subzero replaced that for me.
Malibu Menthol is pretty good at a lower strength for me personally..i find it too harsh in 24mg
Belgian Cocoa i like
Stay away from Cafe Mocha ..short version ..Eating raw Coffee
HX3 is funny ...my 1st bottle I didnt like too much it tasted and smelled like perfume but the one i got yesterday wayyy better
I mainly mix now im currently vaping my mix now which is Torque subzero an shamrock. As a newly EX smoker Halo is my go to for tobacco an complete satisfaction.
That said, I also recommend Thevaporroom.net (too many to list i have alot) and im currently testing MTbakervapor juice.

I just recieved my Halo G6 kit today and have been vaping away for a few hours now. First impressions of all the gear I got was really good. Nice travel case, 2 batteries, usb charger and wall plug, 5 prefilled cartos (Menthol Ice) and I ordered a Tobacco sample kit (Prime 15, Tribeca, Torque56, Captain Jack, Midnight Apple) and got a 10ml sample bottle of SubZero Menthol.
So far I've been mainly vaping the Menthol Ice. Nice, pleasant flavor. Very satisfying so far and I find I dont need to vape much of it to get a good sensation. Leaves a small bit of chill in the lungs for a bit almost like a Halls lozenge or breating in Vicks vapor. Quite nice.
Seeing as HX3 was the 'hard to describe' flavor, I loaded it into a blank carto and took a few puffs. Flavor may change from steeping a bit, but it was definitely interesting. Not sure if I like/don't like it, but it's different. Seems to hold a small bit of a subtle pineapply kind of taste.
After some of the other reads I'm a bit hesitant to pop open the Capt Jack and Midnight Apple at the moment. I'll probably wait on those.
So far, though, having sampled 2 juices for a lil while in a new kit....I have to say I'm quite pleased. Hope it stays this way, Halo sure shipped FAST. I ordered my kit on Friday night at like 630 or something. I didn't expect it to get shipped until Monday, but it ARRIVED Monday. Made for a very happy me, let me tell you. I didn't even kill any meatbags today as I was too busy playing with my kit.

I've heard and read a lot of good reviews about tribeca and prime 15 so I think when I order some more liquid I'm gonna try those out. Definitely thanks for the help. Keep your experiences coming!
that's funny. It is actually tasting somewhat better in my drip tip atty so that's good. Not great but better lol

I have been buying juice from Halo for awhile because they aren't that far from me have good customer service and because i like alot of their liquids.I haven't had any problems with any of their juice there have just been certain flavors that have clicked and others that haven't.I first ordered their variety pack tin to give them a try and liked the majority of the flavors included and then little by little i have tried some of their other flavors.I once had an issue where i did not receive a package from them due to a blunder by usps and they were quick to take care of the problem for me..The only thing i can say about your issue is that you should let it steep for awhile,when i first tried their Midnight Apple i wasn't too fond of it but after letting it steep it tasted better.
I hope ur right cus mine is gonna steep for a looong while before/if i load that up again
cap jack on the other hand.. lost cause that flavor is jus horrid
I may buy some different flavors in a few days.. And tbh the Captain Jack is tasting better as I hit it out of my drip tip atty.
I LOVE Tribeca. Turkish Tobacco is very good, too. Vapegrl gives a pretty solid review of a few of their juices.
