Well I've been vaping on my new Halo G6 now for several hours. Very pleased I haven't even killed off the first battery....heh. Was not expecting it to last this long. Not complaining!

This SubZero flavor is NICE. A bit strong on the menthol but that's in the description. (I'm using 12mg strength) It's quite tasty in my opinion. Not likely I'll be vaping it regularly, more as a treat or a wake me up. Funny that I seem to like the menthol juices quite a lot so far and am a regular analog smoker. The SubZero might make a good mix with a few others. One other poster mentioned mixing it with Tribeca and Prime 15 and Torque 56 with pleasant results. Worth a try, will probably do that when I get some more blank cartos.

The Menthol Ice is smoother, and crisp without being overpowering. Leaves a nice tingle without it being too much. Very likely it will become one of my go-to vapes.

So far I'm very pleased with the performance of my G6, as well as the 3 juices I've tried thus far have all been tasty without any steeping. (My kit was just opened early this morning.)

With Halo I either love it or hate it. The husband likes Captain Jack. I can't stand the smell of it. It's like honey and musk. He's also a fan of Prime 15 but it's just too dry for me. I love Torque56 and Smooth 8. The Torque is what finally got me over the hump with the analogs. Smooth 8 reminds me of Earl Grey Tea.

Yea that was me lol, Definitely try that mix since u like the flavor. Also try mixing menthol ice with tobacco since u seem to like it more, thats a pretty good mix as well. I was a Marb Smooth smoker so naturally I prefer the strength & taste of Subzero its perfect for me.

Well I bought this kit before I found this forum. Don't regret the purchase. Cost me a bit more than a carton of cigs, but came with enough juice in the sample pack that (I think?) is a bit more than a carton of smokes. Isn't that the equivalent that 30mL = a carton of smokes roughly?

Either way, it's been a pleasant re-introduction to the new tech, lots of new info from this board, and a good start to getting well and truly into vaping. So all in all, not too shabby.

Oh yea of course, I may have upgraded but in no way do I regret my Halo purchase. I still use it jus mainly at home, the wife doesnt like ego's an such or manual batteries for that matter so I gave her the Auto batt from my kit which I hated anyway. I think Halo is the best Cig-a-like starter kit out there all things considered.

I let the captain jack steep for about 2 weeks before I touched it and still nasty and my wife complained about how it smelled.

I really enjoyed my sample pack of Halo tobacco flavors. I like Torque56, Prime 15, and Tribeca best. Torque56 was like standing in the smoking area again! It was really reminiscent of having a cigarette.

My wife noticed immediately that I was vaping something new and asked about it. She said it smelled like a sour dish rag. I really hated that it was offensive to her. I might just vape it when I'm outside doing lawn work. It's a shame to waste good juice!

I am a Tribeca fan. If I remember right I got a note with it that sait to let it steep for a few days. I don't know if all Halo's juices are like that but I would say give it a week and try again.

Eh...even so I think you would have to sumwhat like the flavor. Malibu menthol was like that for me, 1st vape "hmm interesting but sumthings off" a week later "now this is wut I expected"

cap jack was jus disgusting period steeping cant save everything. but as vaping law goes "taste is subjective"

Well my kit arrived yesterday morning so of the four flavors I've experimented with right out of the box with no steeping:

Menthol Ice was very pleasant. Nice taste, not too strong, nice after-chill effect in the chest cavity.

SubZero Menthol was a bit strong on on the menthol flavor but was still quite refreshing. Not something I'd vape all the time but certainly one of the swappable ones.

The HX3 I'm stilll not sure if I like/dislike. It's an odd flavor, but kind of compelling. Even Halo says it's 'hard to describe' and they're right. Still a pleasant enough vape.

Midnight Apple isn't my cup of tea so far. Seems to have a flowery sort of undertaste I don't care for a lot. It's vapeable so far, but not nearly as good as the prior 3.

I kind of like apple flavors like BWB Applewood. I also like English Toffee juices and good RY4 flavors. I keep a box of small Lorann's flavors around for when I want something more flavorful. Right now, I'm vaping a Vivi Nova filled with Dekang Flu Cured Tobacco laced with a couple of drops of Lorrann's Vanilla Butternut flavoring added to the tank. I add the Lorrann's first, then syringe in the base juice to create a mix. I wish someone sold that combination in 30ml bottles.

It's way too hard to find the perfect juice. Sometimes, you just have to figure out what you like and make it your own with added flavorings. Dekang Flue Cured or Dekang Tobacco is a good starting point for me. Those two are bland enough to be a good base for Lorrann's.

Some vendors sell unflavored juices in various PG/VG mixes. Those are good starting points for adding flavor. www.EcigCharleston.com is one of those vendors.

This is so true I learned this early on. I cant even vape just one flavor alone anymore. I may try but end up jus adding sumthing to it mid vape especially if im using sumthin simple to fill like my EvoD or T3

Right now, I have six 50ml bottles of Dekang in my juice box (among others) and eight bottles of various Lorrann's flavors in the 1 dram size. The flavorings last a long time since it only takes a drop in a 2ml tank to create a tankful of good flavor. My tastes change like my appetite for food! Sometimes, I want plain Jane juice and sometimes I want to kick it up a notch. Lorrann's lets me do that easily. Dekang 50ml 80pg/20vg is $10.99 on sale at Madvapes. It's a cheap way to have lots of good juice.

Yeah I'm waiting on my juice from fuzion vapors to get here.. Super excited.. Unicorn's blood, Gumby's blood, and xtc. Can't wait. Plus my vision spinner, vivi nova, and drip tip should be here today too!!

I also hated that the captain jack was offensive to my wife which is why until I dripped it, I only vaped it once. She now doesn't have much of a problem with it and obviously she prefers the fruity smells lol. Which I'm okay with cuz I enjoy them as well.
