Halo Freedom/Smooth/Torque recipes???

ok. what different between PG vs VG, i got 50/50 @24mg. So, this is the base? just add concentrate to this? can i get pG or VG in Walgreens? do I have add PG or VG o this base?

PG is an animal protein based product and VG is vegetable based with VG being much heavier/thicker and producing more vapor. It's a matter of tolerance (some have PG sensitivity) and taste so 50/50 isn't "bad". You may want more/less as you go.

I'm only thinking about adding more to get to 18mg instead of 24mg because I like to sit at the PC and vape non-stop and 24mg is a wee bit too strong for me.

I believe you can get VG and PG at health food and grocery stores - usually in the cake baking stuff as it is used for frostings and such. MSF also sells PG and VG without nic added.

Well depending on how much concentrate you'll need to add to get the taste you want, yes, you may lower the total nic. I'm hoping not to have to add that much concentrate.

Many people get the max nic they can buy and cut that with their own PG/VG as it's cheaper. I personally don't want to build a lab in my basement so I just go with as much pre-mix as I can and try to save a few $$$ where I can.

Well, both my concentrates AND nic base came in today so I promptly mixed up my first trial batch. 5ml of base + 10 drops of the M/Burough and......BINGO!!!! Halo Freedom spot on, almost. It's actually a bit more towards the Smooth8 so maybe I should have used 5-7 drops instead of 10.

I've not tried the Americano yet as I haven't been able to put my PV down to deal with it but will post the results of that here soon. I figure it'll be a similar mix ratio around 5-7 drops/5ml

Bottom line is I have 250ml of Halo-like juice for $60 shipped!!!!!

Quick little side note on my Freedom results that I found cool....the "color" of the juice is exactly the same as the real thing. Now I realize color is the last way to judge a juice but I guess I feel it just adds more weight to the fact that this IS da stuff

And the concetrate is really concentrated! I mean you can go overboard pretty quickly and easily so I suggest starting off on the low end of your drop count and add to that as you taste. Otherwise, you'll be like me and quickly have a whole slew of 5ml bottles of re-cut juice which isn't all bad as long as you have enough bottles.

There were threads in the past during "the Great Halo drought" that the Pat range was exactly the same. I am not a TW fan but I am going to have to try this myself. I'm in for 5.

Zoos - I'm a power vaper and 24mg is about as strong as I can go without being loopy all day (ok, or I'm a whimp ) but I did notice that the stronger, first mix that was more like Smooth8 with the 24mg did have some bite to it in the TH area.

I would say that whatever you like from Halo mg wise you should go with that for the nic base and believe me when I say you won't have to worry about the concentrate drops lowering the strength as they are really powerful flavor wise. You could also go with the 36mg and some extra PG/VG in case you do find you need to cut it down a bit. Just mix up the cut base first and then add the drops.

Buster - I remember some of those "just like" posts as well but again, TW's price was up near the $1/ml range and I was looking for at least 1/2 that price. Once TW put out the concentrates I was sold and I think this could be a huge growth area for them and anyone else that sells the same thing.

True that. I myself didn't like the price range. Hell, I don't like Halo's price range for that matter.lol. They are some of my favorites and if I can do it on the cheap, it will be a good day.

I got 36mg nic, and additional bottle of PG (and 24 mg nic that I have already). Ordered from TW 4 different concentrates, will try them all.
Are they sweet like the original, or I'll need to add some splenda to it?

You just have to find the right flavour % to add to a nic base and you have 'DA' stuff
Also the right ratio between PG/VG on the mix concur to perfectly 'clone' the juice of course..

Yes and thanks!!! The PG/VG ratio was pretty good at 75/25% but that was at the 24mg so I cut with PG and that did lower the volume on the vapor.

And I should also totally point out that you are THE ONE that started this ball rolling. I got so caught up with how dead on these flavors are that I totally missed giving you koodles for the TW-Halo conversion chart - which by the way I used without deviation to obtain the results I shall die a happy man with.

Zoos - no artificial sweetner needed I was actually very pleasantly surprised that the first mix up without any playing around was just SO close to the real thing.
