Correction, none of the Menthol flavors (Cool, Newpure, & Menthol Ice) are actually a tobacco flavored. They are only menthol plus other un-identifiable flavors. I cant speak for the non-menthols though.

As for where the nic comes from... couldnt tell ya. I know some places use a "synthetic" nic which just a nic that is lab created rather than derived from a plant. No diff really, other than no chance to get tobacco specific crap in there too. Anyway, just my 2cents.

Yeah, the nic I'm not so worried about. Gotta get it somehow I guess. I'm more interested in the flavoring...like VaporPhreak said, the idea is to avoid the tobacco-specific carcinogens that are reportedly found in some tobacco flavored juices. I haven't heard about them being in all juices, which should be the case if the problem was with tobacco derived nic.

It is kind of a bummer because I think one of the best tobacco flavors on the market is Tasty Vapor's Tobacco, but you can't really get a flavor that is more directly derived from tobacco than that one. My Freedom from Halo is pretty mild on the tobacco taste so I was hoping the flavor was coming from something other than a direct tobacco derivative. I'd also like to give Smooth-8 and Bella Vanilla a go but I'm trying to find out about the tobacco derivatives first. Bella Vanilla doesn't sound like a tobacco flavor so it would make sense if it was "clean" but what about Freedom and Smooth-8?
