Hello. I placed an order on Friday with 2-day priority USPS. I have always received it by Tuesday morning. However, I have not received anything as of yet (mail came already today). Anyone else waiting for a shipment? Also it doesn't help that USPS tracking hasn't changed since the "electronic notification of pre-shipment" message. How long should I wait until I contact HALO to reorder? Of course, I would want the same sale terms...

Don't forget, the holiday was last week and starting December first the post office gets extremely busy, usually slowing all shipments down (at least that's been my experience) and the tracking can never be trusted.

USPS tracking is indeed terribad. once you get your package, USPS will show it rejected after stopovers in Palo Alto, CA; Paris, Tx; Azerbaijan; Constantinople (even though it's not called that anymore); signed for by the Geryon on the 8th level of Dante's Hell and the lost in between the bolgias; then back to Paris, Tx (quickest way from Hell, so that's ok), before finally rejected at your home address in Antarctica....all in a mere 3 hours timespan.

if only they could use their FTL technology for good....if only.

As always said, it was during the big cyber sale. But if you got a "shipped" email, that package should have been in the mail that evening. In another thread, this was discussed. Maybe Florida doesn't work on Saturday?

Be that as it may, Halo customer service is the best. Got a call from them to advise pretty much what always9988 said, above. That's okay, and I understand. Still sucks though. But, I remain impressed with the personal attention. They made sure the package left their facility and are now monitoring it for tracking updates. Said I would get a follow-up call within 24 hours to verify receipt or discuss re-shipment. ^^This is why I keep ordering - even when it takes a day or two longer to deliver.

***Edit - while writing this, Alicia from Halo called again to confirm that the package shipping has updated and is a day out from my destination. From where it's at as of this afternoon, I will receive tomorrow morning. THANKS ALICIA!!!!!

i ordered something from a different usa company and had is shipped to where I live in australia via usps. I don't stalk it, because it can take from 1 week to 4 weeks, I'm very patient. anyway, after 4 weeks waiting I look up the tracking info from usps, and they sent it to canada, canada customs refused it entry, and then sent it to australia. yay, took 4 weeks, but I got the package in the end.

As it was stated already, I think most of the shipping issues we may experience is due to the Postal Service, not Halo ...I took advantage of the sale on Monday and ordered a few things (late in the day though, so I knew nothing would go out until Tuesday). Look at the info for my package:

. . . almost 2 days in Jacksonville? That is the USPS, not Halo. Unfortunately, with the sales all around the Internet over the last week and the orders being sent and delivered, and all the cards and gifts that will now be flooding through the system -- orders are going to take longer, even if it's supposed be "2 day priority".

Halo has been good to me thus far, and I just remember what time of year it is and try my darndest to be patient until my goodies arrive.

I love how it showed up in California at 512am... and then 45min later was back in Florida. (the California one is my post office, so it was supposed to end up there)

Just add to the "chaos" it arrived on my front door step at 304pm today, so in 9 hours it went from the west coast, to the east coast and back to the west coast. Seems that USPS is using supersonic airmail.

Wish they would find some of that speed for my poor little package though ...the shipping info from the USPS website that I posted yesterday? It hasn't changed, at all ......*keeps telling self, gotta be patient -- gotta be patient -- gotta be patient ---- starts to realize that it ain't working very well*

Seriously though Toast, very glad to hear that your package arrived safe and sound!
