Halo smoke juice and 510 not wicking enough?

So, the Marlboro flavored cartridges that came with my 510 had no problem wicking and going completely dry. I watched how to videos on youtube and bought polyfill from perfectelectroniccigarette.com so I could start refilling my own.

My problem is that ever since I started refilling and topping off with Halo Cool menthol I have only been able to get about 5 strong puffs before I taste the heated polyfill taste. I pop off the cap and the polyfill is still saturated! Is there something better I could be using? I was led to believe the Polyfill was superior to what packing comes in mosts cartridges.

Any help?

Go buy the fluval at any fish store. It comes very cheap and will wick better that the polyfill. Cut it to the length of the space in the cart and about 1 1/2 times wider. This should help your vaping experience.

ADM! Auto Drip Mod! Been using it since... day two! lol
Never a bad taste until the bit of filler I use it dry. Takes like, 10 seconds to re-fill as well.

I've been using the Fluval (water polishing pad) for a while now. Once I got the hang of how much to use when re-stuffing the cart it works great. I can vape a cart almost dry and I know when to top off because I'll get one draw where the taste is "off" or a bit "dry" - no burned nasty taste and I never find it "stuck" to the atty the way the polyfill used to on occasion.

It is cheap and easy to find. I re-stuff my carts pretty often and that one box of Fluval will probably last me a very long time.

I've seen that some of the fluval comes in rings and weird configurations. Can I just by it by the sheet at the store and will they know what I'm talking about when I go in? What are they using in the factory 510 carts? That stuff works better than what I bought off perfectecigarette.com

Shredded PTB is the best IMO, I couldn't get the foam (fluval) to work every time.

if u got the man batts for 510 learn to drip, i used the PTB mod for A LONG TIME and IT WORKS!! but it is alot of work to keep changing the PTB and so one, dripping is simple and easy, and IMO u get more out of your juice, i. e. less waste, always good taste

He's probably using Fluval polishing pads already. PEC sells pieces of Fluval and Blue Foam (Marineland?).

You're probably the first person who ever said they like the original fill. You could rinse it in hot water, dry it and re-use it.
