anyone ever had Halo Tribeca taste bad, first batch I had tasted great, then I purchased 2 30 ml bottles and they do not taste right at all, do they need to steep maybe, I mean they really taste bad, anybody ever has this, thanks for input

Wouldn't be surprised if it's a steeping thing. I HOPE so, because Tribeca has made it to my short list looking for juices to buy bigger bottles of after liking my first little sample (7ml) order.
It could well be that little orders like mine (and maybe your first taste) are being mixed and then sampled out - so that they're already kind of steeped before we get them - while a 30 ml bottle could be fresh.
I DEFINITELY have learned that there's very few flavors that arrive tasting or smelling good - I've had a bunch coming in lately, and several were utterly un-vape-able for the first few days. The "Vanilla tobacco" flavors were almost all smelling like I was drinking some chemical vanilla perfume. But about a week later, they all were mellowed, and at least one of them so far was actually GOOD.
DO re-reply in a week or so, and let me know if a week or so results in the Tribeca you expected!!

I received my first order of Tribeca a few days ago. I never tasted it or smelled it before. Just ordered it based on reviews. A few days ago I posted that when I opened the bottle to smell it, it stunk. The smell was bad, I mean really bad. So now I am just waiting for it to steep for 2 weeks before I even try it.
I heard Halo used to pre-steep their juices a lot longer so they were ready when you got them, but with the recent massive increase in demand they've had to start selling batches early so they aren't finished steeping yet.
gonna start steeping them today, will retry them in a few days, and I will let you know if there is any improvment
Oh - is that a "THING" - that when you like a sample or little bottle, you should only order 30 ml, or you're asking for trouble??

It's a flavor that was TERRIBLE for a week, then got VERY mellow. Almost too mild, but it's got great vapor and is kinda nice. But I was thinking - "maybe I should't get 30 ml...by the time it's a month old, it might have NO flavor left"!

I don't know how many people have experienced it, but I have heard talk of it and it has happened to me before (not too many times), but having an excess of anything that once was special can make it not so special anymore.
i ordered a bunch of juice from halo a month ago and I had the same problem with my Tribeca. I steeped mine for a week put a new atty in my tank and it's been going swell since then

A review of Halo wouldn't be complete without using the adjective strange! LOL. I love it.
It maybe your wick or coil setup,get a 510 bridgeless dripping atty and you will get the true taste,i also find if i add a few drops of VG too Halo juices it makes it tastes better,i find they add too much flavouring.

Ive tried both and Tribeca wins by a hair,some people really hate Prime15,but i like it,its got an earthy dry coca flavour,i find the Tribeca tastes like carmel corn.
The two are so different, comparisons don't really hold up. That said, I am a P15 guy.
To me Prime 15 taste like home baked peanut butter cookies. I like it but not enough to re-order it. Its very thin. It floods my carto while its in a tank very easy.

I've been buying Tribeca for 6 months and yes it has happened to me. The 30mls and even the samples need to steep when the batch is too fresh. I do caps off two days and then let it sit for a week but when I need to vape it right away I pour it into my vivi nova tanks and start vaping it. That sort of "cooks" it and really speeds up the steeping. Some people give their juices a warm bath. Hope that helps.
Last week I posted about how the smell stunk when I received Tribeca. I never tried it before but bought it based on reviews. I decided to let it steep for 2 weeks. Well it's been about 4 days. I couldn't resist and had to try it. Honestly, it is the worst juice I have ever tried. Not sure if my self and the OP received a bad batch. I will continue with the steeping process but not putting my hopes up.
On a side note,i just tried Maibu and not that fond of it,ive heard great reviews on it,but i find it tastes a tad perfumey and little TH,wont be buying again but its doable,ill stick with Halo tobacco flavours,it tastes like pinapple on the inhale and the exhale is like a light cool peppery taste,i dont get no coconut like it says.

Funny, the tribeca was really bad for me. Now the Mailbu was much better. I did taste pineapple like you did but also tasted the coconut. No peppery taste on my end. Then again, mine steeped for 4 days. I will try both back in 2 weeks.
