I do not understand these issues with the Triton. I absolutely love the Triton system. I cannot imagine any system working any better. Plenty of vapor, throat hit, flavors and nicotine delivery. It works exactly the same when full as it does when almost empty. One thing: since it is a top wicking system, I leave it on it's side when I am not using it. I also leave tanks I am not using on their side. This is why I get consistency and never any dry hits. The tanks have never, ever leaked anything out of them . When it is around my neck on my lanyard, it sits sideways with my 650mah batteries so it is always on it's side when idle.........:vapor:

Somewhere out there
So glad they are working so well. I have had leaks even with Halo juice, big drops on end of bottom, I have to blow out the stem,
what happens to mine is the mouth piece gets condensation inside and drips down the air hole, I have to keep wiping them off. I also test all for being tightened so no leaks from that, but I have had some issues. bnrk

If I stop inhaling at the same time I release the button, it does get pretty wet inside the mouth piece as the vapor just sits there. BUT... (seems everyone I know has a big but :w00t: ) I have found that if I inhale for half a second after I release the button, it clears out the mouth piece fairly well and eliminates a majority of that condensation build up... YMMV though ;-)

That happens with most top coils. But I trade that for the bottom coil inconsistency anytime.

I posted this under the Halo forum also... BUT... I thought I would ask all ya'alls too ;)

I received my shiny new Triton Twist yesterday and have been loving it... mostly... but I'm thinking it may be defective

I never ever hit the 10 second cut off on my 650mah batteries, but I have noticed I do a lot on the Twist... So I got my trusty stop watch out and timed them. I consistently get 10-11 seconds on all on my 650mah batts - 4 total. The Twist I only get around 8 seconds (7.5-8.5 seconds). Doesn't matter if it is fully charged or not, nor what voltage I use (same for time 3.3v as 4.8V). And the only reason I hit that 8 second cut off is because there is a lag before the Twist kicks in. I hit the button and there is about a 1 second lag before the coil fires up full throttle... the 650's are instantaneous

"Vaping Twisted and confused..." :tumble:

I have a Triton as well. The ONLY complaint I have so far is the tanks are not polycarbonate, which leads to a growing laundry list of juices that will melt/cloud/crack tanks of lesser strength plastics. If they came out with a glass/pyrex tank or polycarbonate tank option, I would have a permanent e-boner for Halo's Triton. I'm terrified to try Ectocooler juice for this very reason. Other than that, yeah just keep the wick wet. You can also extend the wick life by properly cleaning them when they start getting brown. But be sure not to pull the wick through the eye where the atomizer is or you might as well toss it. Speaking of which, I need to order more wicks today.

I just bought an iTaste vv/vw 3 yesterday at my local vape shop and love it. Got the chameleon color and it is so pretty in the light. The vape and flavor of my juices taste so much better then they did using my eGo twist. I use EVOD's and get my great throat hit. I have it set at 6.5 watt and it is perfection! I am still a newbie and learning and wonder if the more expensive eCigs (Provari, etc) are better.

1st off... major kudos to those EVcigarettes for getting my order out the door on Thursday:thumb: Ditto on the kudos to USPS for their new 2 Day Priority Mail service  Package containd my eVic, the free eVic atomizer that came with their offer, Kanger T3 with vgo threads and Kanger evod.

The good... I love the eVic  Size is just about perfect (a lot smaller than I thought it would be), appearance and quality are excellent, set up was super easy and it came with v1.3 installed from EVC so I didn't have to do any software updates ;) I know I will thoroughly enjoy using the eVic, once I get my tank situation figured out... see below

The not-so-good :| The evod isn't working like I thought it would. Compared to the Triton T2 tanks, flavor is about 1/4 as strong/yummy and there is a not-so-good aftertaste :glare: Is there a break-in period with the evod tank  Or should it be good to go right out of the box??? Any other tank recommendations??? I was thinking about a Kanger Protank 2...

The bad :grr: I have no other 510/ego equipment until Monday when I have a Smok Pyrex Aro arriving. So I am stuck with only the evod until then... Booooooo!!!

I love my Evod tank and also have a Protank 2. On both I have had to clean the tanks out before I use it or there is a pretty bad aftertaste. After cleaning and drying I prime them with a drop on each side of the wicks then fill the tanks. I leave them filled for a while before I even attempt to take a draw on them. I also have the ARO tank coming in the mail.

I bought the itaste vv3.0 from a local store and absolutely love it! It only came with 2 iclear16s though, and I didn't do the research to know it should come with more... I just put in an order on fasttech for the same kit, except this one will come with the correct number of tanks and is half price! I'm currently using an evod tank since I have horrible luck with any model iclears, they always leak on me! My itaste and evod have been going strong for the past week. I like the convenience of a small battery with the options of the larger mods.

Mine has lettering on it just like the picture. Where did you get it? I'm sure it's a possibility that it's a fake.

Came in the same package with my eVic from EVcigarettes, they claim they are an Authorized Kanger Dealer. Didn't come in any special packaging either, just a sealed plain clear plastic pouch... Same as my Triton tanks that come from Halo (which I believe are made by Kanger).

Mine's due in on Tuesday, can't wait to try it out!

Not all itaste kits come with 5 clearos. I noticed just as many retailers selling them with only 2 as I did with 5.

I never had a problem with the Triton tanks, didn't realize I needed to clean the Kanger eVod before use. I just went to my local shop and picked up a mini Protank 2... that one also has a "funny" taste to it :p I guess I'll have to dump my juice and clean them... bummer:glare:

Okay, quick update... Over the last few days I have come to learn that bottom coil tanks SUCK ...!!!! Pardon my French... but... OMG... I got so lucky with the Triton tanks off the bat. Everything else has been down hill ever since. Kanger eVod, Protank II, Mini Protank II, Smoktech Aro Pyrex, hell I even bought Kanger T2s with the standard 510/ego threads to try on my eVic and itaste 3.0VV. Bottom line, the Triton tanks rock :headbang:

Everything else takes a back seat until something comes even close in performance... I am actually bummed out because of all the reviews I read about how the Kanger Protanks and eVod were so good... compared to the Triton tanks... not-so-much.

Not to mention the quality of the Kanger T2s are no where near as good as the "Triton" Kanger T2s. It has been an interesting journey so far, I was so hoping for better performance with my eVic and Protanks... Just didn't happen :(
