Hi, I'm new to forums and I'm definitely hoping for some help from the community on this one. Halo customer support is virtually useless and seems like they are just reading off a script. I am aware that there is a clearomizer forum, but I can't post there due to new member restrictions.
I'll start by stating that I am not a experienced e-cigarette user, in any aspect. My friend purchased the Halo G6 cartomizer and spoke highly of it, so I decided to purchase the Triton Starter kit, which had positive reviews. I've been really wanting to quit smoking, and it seemed like a solid investment at the time. It worked fairly well at first, but I quickly started having problems with it. Out of the two tanks that came in the starter kit, one clogged up and became unusable for unknown reasons while the second had the wick burn out on the coil after only a a day of light use. So I just figured with my inexperience with ecigs that I must have somehow caused these symptoms by overflowing the tank or something of the sort. So, I ordered a replacement tank and five 2.2-2.4 ohms coils. Now when I use any of the three tanks and new coils, it has a very distinctive burnt taste, almost right from the the first vape. It doesn't matter what combination of coils, tank, and ejuice I use, the result is the same. I take care not to overtighten the coil or the battery, and I make sure not to spill any ejuice on the inside of the coil when filling the tank. I'm not sure if this an issue with the battery outputting to much voltage or something of that nature, or if I'm doing something wrong.
Seeing as I was trying to make a genuine attempt at quitting smoking, and had multiple days smoke free, this issue is incredibly frustrating for me. Any help or insight into this situation is greatly appreciated.
