My only experience with e-cigs is a a Metro I got for for XMas 2 weeks ago. I found I really like vaping so I decided to buy a better system instead of buying carts for the Metro. After reading here I went with the Halo G6.

When I was pricing out what I wanted. the kit plus extra carts and a juice sample pack was a lot more than ordering everything a la carte, so I didn't go for the kit. I have everything I need except instructions.

My Halo G6 arrived an hour ago. Nothing has any instructions. I'm not complaining about Halo: I should have asked for a manual but I didn't think of it. Now it's Saturday and my stuff is here and I'm stuck.

I got 2 batteries (white and blue) and 2 USB chargers. I plugged them in. the white one glows orange at the tip and a red light came on on the charger. The blue one glows blue at the tip with a very faint reddish light on the charger.

After about 20 mins the charger with the white one now has a blue flickering light and the orange glow at the tip is out. that seemed kinda fast. Maybe a bad port? I plugged it into a different USB port and there's still no glow and the charger light is still blue.

Surely it takes more than 20 mins for this to charge initially. Is it a dud? It it ready? When I remove it from the PC the tip flashes orange 3 times. What does that mean? Ready, or "Danger Will Robinson"?

And how do I fill the carts? How do I know how much?

Any advice will be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance

When it comes to batteries.. I wonder if they are like the SI volt's..

I will tell you from an SI stand point, batteries come precharged (around 80% i believe). When it is charging the light on the battery will be on, when the light is off, it means your battery is fully charged (or on the usb charger the small light is blue). as for the flicker.. normal, i forgot what SI told me bout why it does that but all my batteries from SI do it when i take it off the charger. Again, i wouldnt be suprised if the batteries Halo uses is the same (for the most part) as the one Smokeless image uses on the volts.

Now as for filling your blank carto's. I would look on youtube. There are different methods and ways to go about it.

thanks for the Youtube tip. I did just look around but there's a lot of conflicting info. "Prime the coil"? Some people drop into both ends first, others into one end, some smoke right away others wait for 10, 15 or 20 mins.

"20 drips around the side and 5 down the middle"? Do I take the cart apart somehow? Some people drop it into the end you smoke from and others talk about side/bottom/top. Oy Vey

I have a Halo G6. The light on the charger turns blue to indicate the battery is fully charged. Don't know why they blink when they're taken off the charger, but mine always do.
All the batteries do that, except for my pass-through. It's normal behaviour.

As for filling cartos, there's no one correct way. Whichever way you prefer is what's best for you. With standard cartos I prefer the condom method for the inital fill, and I use a syringe for my echomizers.

Good luck!
