I hope they know about the issues by now. The consumer benefits thru discussion of issues imo and hopefully will aid in getting issues resolved. It helped in getting the 510 connector revised.

Despite the attacks you have received by a certain few (including myself regretfully ) for your continued concern and postings about safety issues with these DNA devices i really think you have done all you can do .

I think people know by now that these devices regardless of manufacturer have quirks and some of them are downright scary .

I think the majority know very well that these devices can be unpredictable . Very few if anybody would put the time and effort you have made to this topic and if new issues come up that have not already been covered by all means sound the alarm but sometimes it seems your just going over the same ol same ol .

Just my opinion of course

THX for the comments... I hold no animosity towards anybody... life is too short for that (at least at my age)... Hopefully others will be able and willing to discuss safety issues concerning devices, toppers, e-liquid, etc. should they feel they exist and not be hesitant fearing being attacked. We all are passionate about our vape gear and sometimes (not too often) things get a bit heated. That's all "water under the bridge" as far as I'm concerned. There is a long history here in the ECF concerning safety and it will continue, as it should, since vaping is still evolving with new "stuff" at a faster pace that ever.

Oh well, I've rambled too long..... vape on my friend.... sorry if I highjacked the OP.... :vapor::):)

The three hotcig ones I've been in immediate contact with all sucked compared to the cloupor device I have.

has this weird sound when the device fires. the mini battery isn't nearly as good as the original.

I guess for the price its alright, but the gap between the original and the FT clone is much greater than the gap between the original and my cloupor

The way I'm looking at it is that if it starts going wonky after warranty, its still a nice aluminum box to rebuild. The box and battery make it worth buying.

You're absolutely right roxynoodle. That's a good idea. I didn't think about that but if it ever goes bad it would be a fun rebuild.

I didn't notice this at first but i found out that if the FT version goes bad for any reason after the 6 month warranty you can send it in and they will deal with the manufacturer in getting it repaired . Of course for a fee but thats pretty good for people who don't want to deal with rebuilding.

Wow. Not bad. I would probably end up rebuilding it myself just for the fun of it. But that's a pretty good warranty for those who can't be bothered with rebuilding.

Yeah , i think it's quite remarkable for a $50.00 mod to be honest , i would probably want to replace the board with an original Evolve but my soldering skills (actually don't have soldering skills ) are atrocious and thats putting it mildly.

Just a quick update. It's been 10 days since this mod arrived. I've been subjecting it to some pretty heavy use and it's been a solid performer. So much so that I have not touched any of my other VV or VW devices and I've barely touched any of my mechanical mods. Absolutely no complaints at all. Great battery life, easy to use, quality construction, awesome flavor and great clouds of vapor.

IMHO, for $56...........

This Thing ROCKS!!!

I ordered A Cana dna30 from cloupor yesterday. Will sony vtc5 2600mah flat top work.I'm kinda in a hurry it has already been shipped.I really don't know how to build Atty. What can i order that's ready to go out of the box for the mod Thanks

Sony VTC5 should be fine. If you don't want to build your own coils, basically, any tank or carto with a 510 connector will work. But having said that, IMHO, I think you will get a more satisfying vape on an RBA. My favorite setup has always been with a dripper because nothing beats the flavor. But the AQUA and the Kayfun are both pretty darn good rebuildable tank systems that come very close to the taste of a pure dripper.

You still have plenty of choices for good ready-to-go tanks like the Kanger Aero and Protanks and Unitanks, Nautilus Aspire, and a multitude of clearomizers and cartomizers to choose from. One of those tanks would probably be a good place to start because you don't have to build anything. All you have to do is fill them with juice and vape away. Very simple to fill.

If you end up being bitten by the "rebuildable bug" and want to start making your own coils, there are plenty of tutorials on ECF as well as a ton of YouTube videos to show you how to do it. I would be happy to assist if you have any more questions and I'm sure many other members would be happy to help as well.

Also, you should have a look at some of the other threads discussing the issues some people have been experiencing with the Cloupor. Some safety issues you should be aware of just in case your mod starts acting up. Here's a link to a thread by retird. I think he has pretty much covered everything. Hope this helps.
