HANA MODZ DNA 30 Clone arrived today from FT.

So I ordered a black 18650 variety and a fogger for it. Both are in transit already (ordered on 30th...late). I know its a long wait so I'm trying to forget about it... and not doing real well with that.
Ordered my wire and wick from viper vape and with the fogger, will be making the jump from an aero tank and ego style vv's, to a 30w APV and an rba tank. I seemed to get bored quickly after my last purchase so I figured I would jump in over my head to stay engaged longer...

Probably get a cheap dripper soon too.

I just got my FT DNA30 and it only took 12 days total to get to Texas. 10 days for shipping. Not like it used to be. I had 1 order that took 31 days to get to me.

Well.. my new toy took a dump! It quit firing! Worked great for a few days. I think it's the 510 pin not making proper contact. I adjusted it till I was blue in the face. It's so small and very loose in the threads. Press the button and nothing, just a faint hum. Oh well just opened a ticket with FT. They have good service just a long way away.

DARN! Sorry to hear about that Buster. That stinks. I hope they resolve it for you quickly. I noticed that mine was loose in the threads as well but it has been making contact without any problems. How long have you had it?

Not bad GMayberry. That sounds about right. I haven't had any orders that took more than 2 weeks to arrive from FT. How are you liking it so far? I was considering getting one after seeing the performance of my full size DNA30. Quite happy with it.

So far I am loving it. I recieved the "attempted delivery" notice yesterday, and went to the post office and picked it up this morning before work. I have been using it like a champ at 17.5 watts wrapped at 1.4Ω all morning and it is amazing! I just put it on to charge a few minutes ago. The charging light is visible, and it appears to be slightly finicky, but I removed and inserted the charger again and it is charging just fine. It may just be the cable, not the port.

I am assuming you mean with shipping, not with usage right? I have heard of long shipping times with the 18650 models, but not so much with the mini. It all comes down to batteries going through customs. All I can figure is that when scanned, the 18650 is obviously a battery, and the lipo, I guess, doesn't always "appear" to be a battery to the ones scanning the packages, so it doesn't go through the same scrutiny as the 18650's so it goes right through.

All of my "non-battery" purchases from FT have arrived between 14 and 20 days. This was actually my fastest delivery to date from them. And it was the one I was anxiously awaiting, so I am glad it was the fastest! Typically, I order from FT and forget about it until it arrives, this one.... I couldn't get it out of my head!!

Quite possibly, but this thread has been back and forth on topic of quality, and more recently shipping times. Not sure which he meant, but I haven't had an 18650 to compare with as far as usage. Hopefully never a horror story to share!

The V3's FT is shipping now have had 99% very very positive talk , most of the issues you read about FT models are older and especially the old ones with the seam across the top.

Great. I'm glad it's working well for you. Based on my experience with the 18650 in this thread, other reviews and your initial positive observations on yours, I think it might be safe to say that the V3 is a solid unit.

I don't think I'll ever see mine. They put it on a one man rubber raft I think...told me to expect a 60 day transit time. Also to not expect tracking to work until at least 14 days in. I have little hope of ever seeing it.

I just got my mini V3 today. Ordered on the 22nd while it still said "shipping in 10 days". Got notification it shipped on the 29th and was out for delivery yesterday. Since I wasn't home, I had to pick it up today.

Battery was 2/3 full but I charged it and now run a Mega tank on it (I had to slightly screw the 510 pin in the mini to make it sit flush). The unit is black and absolutely flawless. The buttons and display are flawless as well. I am pretty nitpicky, but I really cannot find anything wrong with the unit.

I opened the back and I am amazed how clean it is. I was expecting lots of glue, but I can't see any. All the cables are neatly aligned and I can see almost the entire board. Comparing the Ohms with my MVPs, I tried two tanks and one had identical reading on MVP @2.2Ohm and the other was 2.1Ohm on MVP and 2.2Ohm on the mini. I then compared vape experience at identical settings and the mini is simply perfect. I really did not expect this at all.

I originally planned to gut it and replace with DNA30, but now I'm not sure whether I should just go with it for a while. I will see how long the bliss lasts and may do that if and when this board fails. But boy, am I pleasantly surprised by this thing.

That really stinks Buster. I feel for ya man. At least you have a backup vape in the meantime but I'm sure it's till disappointing. Any luck with customer service yet? Are they going to replace it for you?
