Why should it have been that? It works fine and was quite popular as it was. Not that this is a bad idea or advancement.
BTW you should get in on the DNA200 somehow. The diagnostics alone will be worth the price of admission for you.

It's the single battery / dual battery form factor convertibility. Very appealing to me.

I am very excited about the dna 200 but I have to stop myself from getting the first box it comes in. I know there will be several options if I wait a bit, but it's hard not to just order the first one I can get my hands on lol.

No. I would rather carry an extra battery and get a smaller form factor.

A lot of times I'm the same. What's interesting about this one is it comes with two detachable battery holders so you can choose a single battery option form factor or a dual battery option form factor to suit circumstances.
