Yeah, saw that last night. Looks like the imminent release of the clones is causing caution in potential buyers. At least one of them has reduced the price a couple of times already.

I am in no way affiliated or do I even know the sellers, but there are 2 Hana Mini v3 for sale in the classifieds if anyone is looking. There only asking $250 shipped! Just looking out for anyone who wants one.

Quick heads up for anyone looking to buy an authentic V3. I just ordered mine from F5 ( last dealer on Hana main site ). She told me she still had two. No wait, it's in the mail tonight. You'll need to call them, their site is under construction.

myke, thanks for keeping us on topic lol.
I see why you are running at 3.9v. something is weird about the hana. I usually like 5+v,even over 6v. at 5v it is literally burning my mouth and certainly lips. at 5.4v the juice and/or wick starts burning. I am running it at 4.3v and quite frankly that is hot for my taste. that is not so with other devices. this thing is potent. I really do not want to run it flashing out of regulation. to me at least that is not the best use of something with such good regulation. of course I will probably be back here tomorrow saying I am at 3.9v as well :toast:
that's a long haul from 6.3v where I started on this this thing. burning myself kind of ruins the party in my mouth/lungs though. actually that might be worse for me than those stinky cigars I used to smoke!

I am using a huge titanium tip my friend milled for me. it is getting too hot even. I think that should probably be a warning. I tried a delrin adapter but it does not want to fit in the kayfun. it barely fits the Russian. actually I think the Russian does work better with the hana but I am not sure yet. the taste seems better but the volume is less. I am a clouds of vapor king of guy. I could get more production with silica but I like how the ceramic lasts because I am old and lazy(j/k).

I also noticed as I mentioned at 5v+ the hana is getting hot. I mean the whole thing. I guess just because it can do it doe4sn't mean I should. I can't imagine who vapes at 120 watts with a flame coming off the wick haha. well that's lucky because now I know I am not even going to use 12 watts. I was buying mech mods daily before. seriously since I got this I did not buy another and really I am set.

I noticed something odd. when the usb is plugged in it does not get nearly as hot. well, at least it feels that way. I will check with my laser thermo.

so, how are folks selling these for $5-600 on the bay then? I guess I can answer that myself. if it is out of stock when you must have it and you got money to blow....

I kind of want the full size. li-poly is a nicer technology imo. the 18650 is capitive. for all iknow I spend another $250+ and it doe snot last much longer. I think I can figure that because I would say the 1200mah li-poly in the mini is equal to about a 2000mah li-ion. the difference is it charges in 45 minutes. same tech as cellphones, laptops. good stuff. plus I like the size of the mini. hmm. I don't know. the add to cart is looming right now.

Actually, yesterday I put an IBtanked on there to try a new juice I got (RBF by Nicoticket) and it's running at 4.2v. I played around with the wattage until I got the best taste -- which is 8 watts. I'll play with the wattage some more, but this is where I am for now. I'm expecting a Russian 91% in the next day or so, so I'll probably try about a 1.8 micro coil with ceramic wick to see how that works out.

The fact that the Hana is getting hot is kinda spooky. Be careful with that.

Just checked their website, and all the full size seem to be out of stock. I know for a fact they sometimes have a few of an item when their website shows out of stock, but not sure this is the case here. Good luck with your sale. Mine is full size red, too.

hyperion has some now!!

And I'm selling my full size red. serial number 187. Posting around the forum before it hits the classies. PM for info

And they have a crap load of dna 30 boards in stock. Like 50

so I picked up a Samsung 9000mah battery pack. it looks nice and is about the size of the hana full. I think it is stupid to hook up a battery to a battery but I kind of have to. with it already getting hot I hope I don't go kaboom. I am sure there is a bigger better lipo that will fit in it if a guy fit an 18650. the thing is this is really nothing to play with. I do know about electricity but I will not take risks.

the battery pack is also stupid because I just posted something that easily fits in my pocket. I got it on clearance for nothing so I guess I will see how it goes. the rebuilt aerotank on this is almost as good as the kayfun and a lot easier to work with. I just don't know why the Russian is $$ for made in china. the aerotank is built as well and cost me $20. both better than clones.

hey rpm, what tank is on the hana and what acrylic tips are those? please tell!

Gratz. Yes, they where totally nice on the phone. Have not received shipment info in email yet, but that may be due to them being busy. Now all I need to find is a good fire and ice and I am done for a while lol. I've grown in love with fire n ice, but getting tired of twenty four dollar bottles of it.

The DNA uses Direct Current, not Pulse Width Modulation. If you want to go that high, thats fine, but lower your ohms. Right now I'm on .6 ohms with 25 W and coming out at 4.2 v. I personally never go over 4.5 volts and find that my sweet spot is 3.8-4.2 depending on the liquid and atty.

Because the R91% is made in a *good* factory in China with *good* materials lol, Theres a difference.
High grade steel, better trained machinists and better quality CNC equipment cost more money.

The Macbook is manufactured by the same Chinese company as HP and Dell...Overall which are made better?
The more expensive one.

If you don't care about quality materials and machining get a EHPro kayfunlite v2 for $40. There not as nice as a Kebo Russian or a SM Kayfun but you get what you pay for. My brother in law got one and I can honestly say it's the best kayfun clone besides the R91% that I've ever seen.

Edit: I really do recommend the SvoeMesto Kayfun v2 if you can swing it. People like to say "It's the same exact thing", It's not. Maybe they can't tell the difference, but I can. Just my :2c:

right now I am at 4.4v on a dual coil at 2.1 ohms, 8.8 watts. so why does the dna go to 8.3v? I think anything would fry at that. this works good and now the thing is not getting hot. I think I was pushing it too far. half the time I got amouth full of smoke(not vapor). not good. I figured over 5v was a good thing but apparently not. the aerotank says to run it at over 5v but quite frankly I can't. it is way too hot.

We were talking about this just a day or two ago. Apparently the manufacturer is UCT (Upper Class Technology). Kebo, I think, is the distributor.

Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD. If you want a not so hot, burnt taste you should lower the Ohms. Either buy lower ohm heads or I would just recommend getting a kayfun. Thats pretty much what the DNA 30 devices are made for IMO.
