Hmm, looks like I ordered the wrong battery. I have a Sony VTC 3 on the way, when I could have sworn I clicked the VTC 5. Will this work okay in the Hana but just have less battery life? I am more of a battery noob than I thought!

Recommended Sony batteries are the VTC4 and VTC5. I've used those two and also one of the LG ones and all seem good so far.

I got a V3 Mini on the Classifieds here a few weeks ago, and so far, I really like this mod. The DNA-30 board gives a smoooooth vape, and the batter life seems to be pretty good on the Mini, as long as I don't run difficult (below 1.2ohms) loads on it.

I'm currently running a KFL+ with a 1.4ohm chimney micro-coil with cotton wick, and it's delightful...

Glad to hear you like it. It's still my favorite mod. I'm tempted to buy another, but new and interesting toys seem to be released more often than in the past. Rather than buy a new one, I think I'll wait for the next "latest and greatest".

I enjoy to have all the latest toys. regardless of the "sport". I see two issues for myself at least. one, vaping forever should not be a goal. two, it is doubtful anything is ever going to vape "better". you know darn well I will be getting whatever it is though! actually there are already devices said to be better. in that regard I don't actually think those are.

There has been some discussion of the safety of rayon, but when it comes down to it, I'm not absolutely certain of any of the materials we use to vape. I am never, ever going to use silica. Even the sound of it scares the crap outta me. If anyone wants what I have, they're welcome to it. I'm not 100% sure that heating and inhaling cotton is good for me. I've used ReadyWick, and it's okay, but I think it mutes the taste. As much as I've read, I'm as comfortable vaping rayon as I am cotton. Of course, I could be wrong. However, on my first tank, the taste is far superior to anything I've tried before. Until I learn otherwise, I think rayon is going to be my choice for the foreseeable future.

Just wanted to share with others. Everyone can make up their own mind.

I wonder about that. rayon is a synthetic chemical. Id make sure that is safe if I were you. the whole idea here is to be safer, right?

we are totally ot again but it would be really ironic if they find out this is worse than tobacco! this was not developed by scientists afaik. I personally don't do it thinking it is safe. I used tobacco for 60 years. id say in my case any damage is already done. younger folks I just honestly urge them to quit. my feeling is to just enjoy this. if nothing else it is pleasant as opposed to tobacco being disgusting.

that being said, I would not purposely inhale things that are known to be dangerous. as far as rayon is concerned I don't know. I was just guessing. since when it burns it is deadly. I just wouldn't run it dry I guess.

I'm certainly no scientist. Most everything I've read in the thread leads me to believe it's no worse than anything else I've been using as wicking material. I think I told you before, I don't care what anyone says, I'm not going to use silica. That stuff scares the bejesus outta me. I can see how inhaling cotton could be a problem, too. Or, hopefully, all of it is safe while vaping. I certainly hope so.
