No details on pricing yet, not live on the website, but according to Hana's Facebook page it goes on sale June 8th. I like the modular concept, even if I'm not totally thrilled with the aesthetics, especially the faceplate.

Man, you two just can't help yourselves, can you?

Sad, sad little lives.

One of the posts was useful/relevant to the thread, i'm just gonna start reporting the rest, the intentional baiting has no place in this thread.

Back on topic, it'll be interesting to see what these actually look like in person, the plastic boxes/build pics certainly aren't dazzling. Honestly i think the grey one is down right ugly, imo.

But $109 for a production legit DNA40 mod though...i mean think about that, we're closing in on crappy early ego starter kit pricing for some really high end chips w/temp control, IPV4 for $75, Vaporshark RDNA's for $130 etc.

Lotta semi-major moves by big players in industry going on right now, should be an interesting next few months.

The bigger that company gets the more their mods look like cheap Chinese products.

Well, Hana has a tradition of making the same device in a variety of different materials and finishes. Wouldn't be surprised to see this in a billet aluminum version before long, at a higher price.

Can't blame them on going plastic/less expensive, the market for mass produced, "affordable" TC is about to be owned by the Chinese, and the HEMO space is spoiled for choices, but with a small market. They probably can't survive (or at least thrive) with the old $200+ business model, especially since one of their big selling points in the past is now considered (by more than a few) as a negative, that being locked into Evolv's problematic DNA40.

It also doesn't help that their largest direct competitor (Vapor Shark) is moving down-market as well, and just seemed to have merged with one of their other competitors (VaporFlask) and moved that device down-market as well.

One might say the same about someone who brings up Yihi and the Mini M in the Hana One thread.

They literally are now cheap chinese products.

It's not the material, it's the design. I've seen plenty of high quality looking plastic mods, but this one looks like a pager from the 1980s.

Hana is known to have brutal pics of their product so I am very hopeful this looks (and feels) way better then the pics represent. This is the kind of mod I would love to own. Very light/small with a single 18650 for work and the dual battery for longer life when I need/want it. Even with the dual battery setup I can see it being a decent size for what it is. Hopefully they start shipping tomorrow and we will have some good first impressions and much better pics by weeks end. I have been wanting to try TC from other manufacturers but some very appealing DNA40 mods have been announced/are out now.
