DANG!!! I just went to look at that blue high-boy - I knew it was sold, but the aluminum caps have already come and gone. Shoot! I thought they were gonna be up in a few days.
Are you thinking of getting more, moorea?

They aren't gone! LOL, I just have inventory set to zero because I am waiting on the smaller envelopes to ship them.

I'll let you know when they are available!

Hey congrats to the winners today , I can hardly wait till I have the funds for some of the most beautiful tanks I have seen.

See you found the new contest... Maybe you won't have to wait and then you will win a sneaky pete, 45ml's of liquid and some cartos to boot!

Just a quick pic of my first PGT. Seems I was fortunate to grab an accent color that works well with the Root Beer Buzz Pro (actually quite a bit better than the picture indicates). :)

Wow - that looks great! Matches really well.

OK gang here is the deal. The bubble envelopes arrived! So I am going to set the aluminum caps as available for those of you who are interested. But please read the following carefully before ordering.

We currently only have 5 sets. These 5 sets are NOT anodized. I don't know when or if we will have more as I think we have decided to move forward with the Surgical Grade Stainless Steel. If we ever do re-consider Aluminum we will be anodizing them.

I am not having the few at hand anodized for two reasons. First the cost of having a few hundred caps anodized is pennies BUT anodizing these 5 sets would add an additional $20 on to the cost of them and then you might as well just wait for the stainless. Adding a layer of anodizing to the caps could very well make it so the caps do not fit in the tank safely. This is something I did not think about until recently so an anodized cap might require a different cap design and a bunch more prototype testing time.

Finally, as we have already debated in full, I am not chemist, some think these things are safe while other do not. After all the debate I was leaning towards not evening selling the ones we had. BUT some of you have said you want them SO these caps are being sold with a BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK clause! If you have done your research and feel they are OK to buy and have troubles down the road whatever they might be, should not reflect on Phiniac glass.

(and just an FYI, my juice has not turned colors yet and the few vapes a day I have taken off the tank with the aluminum caps still taste fine to me and today makes a full week that the same juice has been sitting in the tank)

We also have a few aluminum drip tips available! Again we are looking for a stainless option for these as well as a glass drip tip!

SO here is a little testament to the durability of the phiniac tank if I do say so myself... A few minutes ago I dropped my tank off the counter. It hit so hard that the drip tip cracked right off and the bottom part of the drip tip cracked off getting stuck in the cap... But the tank is fine! I took a few pictures.

At first I thought my PV was broken and I was a bit freaked out... But my buzz as expected took a licking and kept on ticking. Hubby figured out why it wasn't working, it seems it hit so hard, the end cap came a touch unscrewed!

That tank is actually one of the prototype tanks. Since we finished development I've been meaning to pick out a tank for myself... Problem is I can't decide on one and if I am considering one it gets sold before I make up my mind. So technically I don't really have a phiniac... But I want one!

I don't know about that, is there a wife that is going to call me up irate in the middle of the night after she sees your credit card bill??? :p We love selling tanks and getting business, but I do not want to become a home wrecker, might have to cut you off...

Perhaps you should send yourself a pm - but - are you sure you can afford it?

:p

I know you love all the orders you can get - but - you wouldn't want any middle of the night phone calls from your irate hubby.
He might have to cut you off !!

It's a bummer too, I really liked that drip tip!

I'm off to the shop. I will check back later.

Hey, make sure you save that drip tip!

I had a Ming break in what looks like exactly the same way just days ago - basically right at the junction of the the body and the o-ring groove. It was my fault, got the tip caught on something while the PV was partially out of my pocket.

After removing the o-ring from the base, I cleaned the pieces in PGA, dried them well, put a drop of Gorilla Glue super glue on there, spread it with a toothpick tip, lined the pieces up and stuck 'em back together. Pressure for one minute, then let sit for an hour. Put the o-ring back on and it still works great!
