This tank is about 3/4 to 1/2 full .... I just changed the carto. My cheeks were starting to hurt from having to draw so hard. (that's when you know it's BAD. LOL)

It could be something other then the carto as well. For the longest time every carto my husband tried was drawing so tight it was just not working for him. I finally tried it and couldn't believe how long he had been putting up with it. I decided to throw that tank on my Buzz and it work fine. Can't tell you how many cartos he tossed in the garbage thinking they were bad. In that case it was the top screw on the his Buzz that needed attention.
Some more points to think about lighter juices tend do better in a carto then darker juices. I have gotten both fusions and boges where the entire lot I bought just didn't do as well as others times I had purchased. Are the air holes on your cartos being blocked?

The draw was tight even when off the PV, so I used the little dental thing on the airhole, and tried the 2 little vent holes down on the threads, but they are so little I don't know if it did much good. New carto is drawing like a dream ... almost too easy. LOL But now it's not wicking well or something. (I use a needle to prime carto) It's just not my night. LOL
Did ya get the new carto workin? Hate when a fellow vaper is having problems.
Well ..... carto I put in was almost like coils were down middle instead of in filler .... NO juice flavor AT ALL. And this is blueberry cinn, so I should have tasted something. And I injected down the sides with a needle, looked like a slushie, etc.
So, I pulled that one, spun the juice out of it, and put another new one in. I'll mess with the 1st one tomorrow ... I am soo not in the mood. LOL But I am good now, blueberry heaven.

Hubby uses a syringe to pre fill the carto before he fills his tank and it seems he always has more issues then me.
This is my carto pre fill method. I drip 5 - 6 drops in the top then spin between my hands very fast. Then I very gently blow into the top of the carto to push any extra liquid down. But it is very gentle blow. I then but 4 - 5 drops in, spin and gentle blow. I repeat this until I have somewhere between twenty to thirty drops in there (depending of my patience level at the time) Towards the end as the wadding is filling up you will only be able to get 3 or 4 drops in at most. I finish with a few gentle blows over a paper towel to make sure there are no drippies that will get into my PV (because my PV is my friend) and the I put it in the tank. It sounds like a great big huge process but it really isn't. I've done this with both boges & fusion and have very little issues!
Finally NEVER FILL A TANK ON YOUR PV, at least not if you like your PV!

I have an old burnt out eGo I use, but that's also why I like the HB tanks. That little extra room on the carto is nice to grip. I cut my finger on a carto's threads the other day and said some not-nice words. LOL
I don't know it seems to me based on your join date you are well ahead of the curve!
On another note, I am kind of bummed I don't have a contest running. It ended so quickly I find myself with nothing planned for another. I feel incomplete!
Agree with morea on the drip fill method. I do more like 10 drops at a time though. Nvr used the fusion cartos gonna have to get me some of those.

I vaped before I joined, but went 100% the day before T-giving. It sure seems like it's been longer than 4 or 5 months though.

I guess it sucks the air out, and juice fills poly. I did it 3 or 4 times, dripped the top a tad, and the carto was great. I was able to get alot in, and it was easy for old eyes and hands.

Believe me when I say, "we've all been there". Practice makes perfect. I could suggest a few things, but I don't want to sound like a know it all (cause I'm not), so I usually stay quite.
Who are buying your Boges from, I got a (first & last, thank you) batch from Good Prophets and the whole batch was sub-par (actually tasted like they had machine oil in them) while OTOH every single one I've gotten from Crystal Clear Vaping has been perfect.
I then heard from someone on ECF that Andrew at CCV has a deal with Boge that he only gets 1st quality product. Which implies that they are selling 2nd's to some of the other vendors. Based on my GP experience this would seem to be the truth.
I wish I knew how to tell who gets what, I do know that the black ones from CCV come with CCV printed on the label and the black ones from GP have no printing on their label.

Put the bottom condom on the carto (one for the bottom thread area), put in 10 drops and shake down (kinda like a themometer), repeat...then add about 7 more drops and shake down again usually this has you with the shiney wet top but not pooled. Then you can remove the condom, blow into the carto (into a tissue or pt) to get any liquid out of the tube just in case any got in there and you are good to go. Hope that helps and that I didn't sound like a know-it-all.

I got this batch of pre-punched boges from Chief at SpringVapor. I also got a 3 box deal from him of un-puched ones, so I have to get punchin'. LOL
On the high-boy tank I use the MadVapes DCC .... I like the ledge.
willowize - please advise away. I can always use help and pointers. Like I just started filling the tanks from the battery end, after someone recommended it. I was doing it from the top, and catching the punch right on the o-ring causing leaks. Filling from the bottom solved that problem.

willow - I have done that with good results also, or same principle but spinning with an old shoelace.
I get my boges, or buds from purevapor since they are about a 15 min drive from me. Last time I checked they where about 1.49 each and I am still using one I opened 3 weeks ago then I punched it when my Phiniac tank arrived and have used for about a week and it's still going strong. I haven't tried my buds yet but I love the boges.
I'm a dizzy enough without the spinning.- Status
