Just for chuckles let me throw this into the pot ...

"Vapage" makes a short carto (... which they call the Silo for some odd reason) which, not counting the connector is exactly 1" long. It's a nice carto & very popular with the Vmod/Vmod XL Bottom Feeder crowd.

Thing is, it's too short to use in any tanks that I've seen ... so, maybe .. you could pick up some extra biz from that gaggle of geese.

... and that would be what? .. a 1/4" shorter than your standard design?

Hmmm very interesting, that would be a short tank though! We will have to look into that. Thanks for the info :2cool:

Ok ... since I'm on a roll here (gawd, me luvs pressing me luck):

What if you made a tank that was about 1" tall x 1 1/2" round ... that would be the 'Flying Saucer' design we were talking about, about 50 pgs ago !? It should also hold a decent amount o' juice !!?

hmmm ... 'round' should read 'diameter' - you know what I mean!

Interesting trick !! ... I'll have to try it out later tonight when I get back. I guess it wouldn't cook it but .. what, 'steam it' a little .. what would that be .. 'poaching'?

Any downside to doing this?

Thanks,

Enquiring Lizards Want to Know !!

lol.. I like 'poaching' thats a good term for it :)

No downsides that I know of. Just make sure the lids on your bottles are sealed tight. And leave them in the water long enough that the liquids themselves get kinda hot.

I like the idea of a wider tank. I see no reason to have a shorter one. The regular sized tanks now work perfectly. Why change a good thing? :)

lol good one : ).

I guess it's no big deal, I can salvage the parts and buy another battery box to rebuild... Just a little sad because it hit better then my green one and even better then the 18650 parkes vaping flash light mod I have.

What kind of electronics do you use in your mods?

Just the basic stuff... I haven't really got into the more advanced aspects of building yet, only built my little black 3.7 and a 5V box that I traded for some juice last month

The other ones I have is a green box from ace of vapes that was given to me for free because it no longer worked but I gave it a new button and now it's good as new HotBox-Green

Then the only one I actually bought is the Silver diamond from Parkes Silver Diamond

However I was planning to build a VV box mod with the normal 3 AA battery box but then I came across a 2 18650 battery box and I began to think I could possibly make it a dual 18650 with two 510 connections for massive clouds while also being VV but I haven't committed yet because I want to make sure I can pull it off before I buy the parts.... The idea isn't a new one but I don't have the $120 to pay for one that's built by someone else so I'm hoping to be able to pull it off myself : )
