Hand blown Pyrex tanks from phiniac.com are now available!

I guessed it! I guessed it! ..... where's my prize! 
Well we were hoping to be able to acid etch the tanks so we can do some going off computer generated designs, names etc. It is also less expensive then blowing so if we can get it right we can offer those at a lower price. But I am sad to say it did not work. It seems you can not etch on all Pyrex and sadly it is looking like the pyrex that we use for the tanks can not be etched.
But we have not given up. We are going to try leaving the acid on longer (maybe even over night) and see if that will make a difference. If it does not, then we move on to sand blasting!!!! Sand Blasting will be cool because you can dimension!

You didn't miss much, matadorx cried and "crapped" his pants, odium cut his finder with a knife and our first attempt at acid etching was a failure... Not even a mark on the glass, it was as shiny and polished as when we started. But hubby does not give up easily, so he is trying again. I guess next week we will be trying sand blasting!
Got the email, and put the image with a few others (including the eye) our next batch is the valentines day batch and then we will give the frog and the eye a go!

We are going to let this one site for a few hours (it was only supposed to be 25 minutes for pyrex) so I'll post back if it works.
If that kitten would look, and act like that forever, that would be do-able. He is soo cute..... but then again, cats are moving chew-toys for my dogs.
Nah, was just a little cut, no more then the size of a paper cut. Was excited to get the package opened and I brushed my finger over the blade when I was putting it down.
