Hangsen Turkish is one of my ADV's. :) -I mix it @ 9% {many mix this @ 7%} and I usually put in a small percentage of EM {.5% to 1%} and I add menthol to this one.

Try the hot steep for a few hours then let it sit overnight with the cap off. Turkish is some good stuff! -Maybe you need to bump your percentage. Maybe not!

Okay Kids,
After letting breathe overnight, I steeped in a crockpot for 4 hours. There was little if no color change. Dripped a sample and you could taste the tobacco starting to emerge. Put another sample in my Kanger Aerotank and it still tasted too sweet. After upping the wattage up to 11 watts, I could taste the tobacco and the sweetness was reduced. But that's way too high for my normal vape. I think I'll let it sit for a week and test again. Meanwhile I am going to mix up some Desert Ship at the same 1 drop per ml. Will mix another 15ml batch. My wife was ticked at me using the crockpot saying it uses too much energy, (electric bill). she wants me to try the rice maker instead.

Okay,
I mixed my Hangsen Desert Ship at 8%, then added to my Turkish Blend to bring it up 8%. The Desert Ship tasted pretty good when dripped but, could taste the sweetness over the tobacco but tasted better than the Turkish Blend at 5% when dripped. Time will tell. I tried 4 hours of crockpot with no difference.
These are the only flavors I have at the moment. I have some MFS Honey Black Tobacco, (e juice) that is tasting better after 1.5 weeks. Also have a friends "secret" Cherry Pipe Tobacco that is great. But at $15.00/30ml and he won't cough up the recipe This last batch of 60ml will probably be my last. I love the tobacco flavors. We have several fruit samples that we have tried but really don't like them for all day vapes. My wife does like a certain Watermelon made by The Vapor Room. But with all the different watermelon flavors out there who knows which one is the right flavoring.

Well,
I ended at 10% so far. Got it steeping in the crockpot. I found out that this is not "super concentrate". Vaped a bit after the mix and the favors were coming out nicely. Still had a bit more sweetness than I like. I did place an order for some TA. Anybody have any experience with this and the Hangsen flavors?
Thanks everybody for the suggestions!!

I am using the regular Hangsen tobacco essence for my flavoring. I use them at 7-8% and make each in a separate bottle so I can just add or mix the flavors in my tank as I want. Sometimes I want more RY1 and then a couple days later I want it more Arabic so I can change the dominant flavor regularly. I do my non-tobacco flavors the same way because I get flavor fatigue quickly and I just keep changing them up.

Final mix for the Desert Ship turned out to be 12% with 10% Nicotine in a PV/VG 50/50 mix. Nice flavor but not overpowering. I should be receiving some MFS Tobacco Absolute this week. Its already diluted. Not sure what to do with it yet. I just think that 12% is really high. My wife agrees that the flavor is nice. But when you read other's posts its 2% here, 1.5% there, some at 5%-8%. But 12%? I can't imagine that 40 years of smoking ruined my taste buds that bad.
My stock Aerotank coils can't keep up with the 50/50 mix. My DIY single coils do a nice job.
BTW, I double hit but no lung shots.

My sense of taste returned over the course of 1-3 months after I quit cigarettes. Others have said six months; but I think it might also depend on age. If 12% makes you happy and keeps you off cigarettes, then it is absolutely no problem. And with DIY, you can simply adjust each batch to current taste! Enjoy, and congratulations!

I've found that I need to mix some of my HS flavors to achieve my desired results. By adding HS Arabic to my USA Red or to my RY1, it really brings out that strong tobacco taste if that's what your interested in.

Gary, just wanted to say thanks for that tip. The strength of combining these was surprising to me -- and delicious.

I am currently enjoying my Hangsen Desert Ship, (at 10%, 50/50 mix), it is basically my everyday vape for now. Made another batch of Turkish Blend, (also 10%, 50/50 mix). Now the BIG question. I have some MFS Tobacco Absolute 50% dilution that I have further diluted 4 drops to 10ml of PG. "Should" I add a drop or two to a small 4ml sample and see what it tastes like? Has anybody done this to these flavors?
I have mixed a batch of RY4 also same concentration. Haven't tried it yet.
Opinions please!!

This is kinda OT, but maybe that's what I can do with my HS Arabic- mix it with RY1, Turkish or Highway. By itself, Arabic tastes like grass clippings/hay to me.

No, no -- send it to me. (I love Arabic second only to British.) But yes, try this; very good. My favorite is mixed with USA Red (40/60, respectively)
