That is a hoot CES-I wonder how long it will take before books are just a memory

Lol, I could understand almost everything he said without reading it! That's what happens when you marry a Mexican lol.
I love my books and the feel of them, but I like e-books for the ease of reading anywhere. Some of my books are BIG and require a big bag to carry them around, so I typically only read actual books at home, and read digital elsewhere. I also like being able to have a variety with me at all times Most of my e-books are the free ones, I love old books!

yep, just back from our after lunch walk. Beautiful sunny/windy so. cal. day here 
So i went out to my local pub with a few friends this evening to celebrate and listen to another friend play music. Two groups of grad students that i taught last summer (some of whom I'm still teaching) came in only to wish me a happy birthday and give me hugs- it was incredibly amazing and touching, that they went out of their way to come by and wish me well. I feel really honored (and was really close to tears)

Was suggested yesterday that I get a Phlashlight, and settled on that! Actually we are ordering 2, so my boyfriend and I will each be getting one.
