How was your trip?

Well, I am a day late and a dollar short ... So happy day after (or actually 2 now that it is past midnight) your 26th anniversary.

Anyway it is OK I am late... I celebrate my mariage most days! More fun then waiting for 1 day out of a year to pop up!

How was your trip?

It was great - and fast.
My only neice got married last Saturday, so it was busy. The weather was very nice and everything went smooth.
I got to spend the entire time with my daughter, which made it the Best. She lives just south of Little Rock and I don't get to see her near enough for me, so I took full advantage of it.

Even got to dance with her at the reception, which I haven't gotten to do in many years. She may be almost 29, but she'll always be my little girl.
She really pulled a very tough one on me tho. She requested the DJ play "Butterfly Kisses" and then she asked me to dance.
She knows I "can't do" that song. I can't listen to it by myself, or in front of 178 people while dancing with my daughter, without losing it..totally. My eyes are FULL of tears just typing this. Sheesh...

It was a great time and I thank you for asking Wharf.

My eyes are full of tears reading this Ros. Sounds like a very special time was had I can't hold it together listening to that song either.

My only is a Soph at State and she's talking about moving out with a couple of friends. It's been a rough cole of weeks because I'm not ready for her to not be around every day. She won't want to talk for a day and a half and then talk for 2 hours, I just soak it in like a sponge.

Dads and daughters... something pretty special there. I know exactly where you guys are coming from. My little girl has been married for a few years and just got out of college but she's still my precious baby. It'll be that way 'till I leave here. Maybe longer.

My daughter just turned 12 and I had a hard time taking her to to see her first middle school, so I know it's gonna be rough dealing with what you guys are right now.

It must be nice when they turn 18, 19, 20 and they are normal civil humans again. Mine is a few months shy of 14 and there has not been a day in the past 8 months to a year that I have not wished it was time for her to move out! But I too was a 14 year old girl and remember what it was like to be all hormonial and moody and want nothing to do with my parents, so I also know when it is time for her to go it will be awful! And of course she is in a gear up for college program and as of now is only interested in schools across the country, so that will stink!

Thats so funny morrea! I will never forget when my son was 13. He put us through alot. My boss promised me that once they hit their 20s they turn human again and he was right! Hang in there

I thought that was only girls! Gosh I hope I do not have to go through this again with my son! That means I have close to a decade of this. If it is only her then we are talking 5 maybe 6 more years! It really doesn't bother me as I expected this.
