Greetings and Happy New Year!! You guys have been much missed...even while soaking up the sun and surf :) I have been a "V4L" maniac, telling everyone about the wonders of vaping and now I am out of contact cards :p That only took a week and a day and POOF! Like magic, every card was gone :) I hope we have more family members soon :)

However, tomorrow we leave for Orlando and the MOUSE!! <cheer> DH and I have some suggestions from Floridians who were here for the holidays...like do NOT skip the fireworks display at Disneyworld!! Now, I have a question for you guys :p Who else would I trust with important vacation plans but you guys??

If two adults are touring Universal and Disney...when is the best time to start the day, considering we DO want to see the fireworks? Should we start at breakfast and HOPE we last that long, try to exit and re-enter the parks (is that even possible?) go later in the afternoon? Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Plus, is there any DO NOT MISS activities we should factor into our day?? Tuesday and Wednesday are Universal days, Friday and Saturday are for the Mouse :) Thursday is strictly for recovery :lol::lol: Who knew it could be so exhausting doing nothing?? You have to be in real shape to lounge around a pool :p

For those who have asked, DH is doing well...and danced the New Year in to a reggae beat :) He deserves time in the sun after his health issues...all the surgeries and scares of the last 5 years ;)

Our combined hope is that 2012 is a banner year for you and your families :) HUGE {{{{{HUGS}}}} to you and yours :)

Love and kisses and best wishes...Kanza

I have taken my children to the Disney parks when they were a bit younger. I suggest getting up and being there close to the opening. Leave the parks for a nice (and significantly cheaper) lunch. After lunch rest a bit, shop at Downtown Disney etc. Then go back in the early afternoon/evenings. Trust me - a full day in the park is a bit much.

You must take a day or two to experience the wilderness wetlands. Disney bought of large amount of land for tours I believe. I used to fish there until they kicked me out and told me Disney owned it. GRRR! And if you are a golfer, some of the Disney courses are a must! Maybe it's because I grew up in Florida but I find the attractions to be a waste of time and money. Except maybe Epcot. Interesting and fun. I personally wouldnt waste all my time at the attractions. Enjoy "Florida". Disney is just Disney.

But I understand, you got the kiddies with you lol.

Have fun be safe.:2c:
