Hi everyone! First off, I want to thank everyone, vets & newbies, for their help with finding me the right e-cig. After my hours of reading many threads, I decided to go with the Riva 510- Lite Bundle starter kit from Liberty Flights. I also bought their E Liquid; 60 ML of VG Menthol Blend 24 MG. I received my package yesterday morning. As a 25 year & 1 pack a day smoker, who only quit during the pregnancy of my 22 year old daughter, I have not had an analog in 27 hours. I have no cravings for one at all!

The Riva 510 has been very easy to use. I wasn’t sure how I would like the manual battery. It took me awhile to get the hang of pressing the button and getting a good throat hit. Now with the batteries fully charged, I get the same taste and hit as an analog. Also, I wasn’t sure about filling blank cartridges. It’s not the pain in the .... that I thought it would be, very easy. I am surprised at how little E Liquid that I have used, about 2ml. Also, the cartridges last longer then expected, two so far. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I believe, finally, I will kick the nasty habit of analogs.

Because I wasn’t sure about whether I wanted a manual or automatic battery e-cig, I also bought the Apollo Extreme Starter Kit with automatic battery. I should receive this tomorrow. After using the Riva 510, I wish that I didn’t order this. But, I will try it. I was thinking about giving it to my dad who has been smoking for more than 40 years. Anyway, I will let you all know when I get it and try it.

Again, thanks to everyone!!! :)

I followed the recommendations on this forum too and purchased a Riva 510, after being unhappy with the e-cig I was using. I am extremely happy with it. I am having urges to purchase some sort of new gadget/equipment or maybe try dripping, which I know zero about. When I do that, I will rely 100% on the folks here. I know I will be happy. I only wish I found ECF before my first e-cig purchase.

Dripping is super easy. Just take the cartridge off your atomizer, put a drip tip on, drip 3 drops into the hole, then vape away. You'll get around 10 or 12 good hits before you need to drip again.

Thanks for the nice responses! :)

I am kind of shocked how well this is working for me. I won't call it a miracle yet but pretty close!

One thing I forgot to mention, I bought a 5 pack of Smart Carts. I just tried them for the first time in the past hour. I don't have a needle to fill them. But, eyebrow tweezers helped to get the fibers out. It takes .7ml of fluid. It fits really snug on the Riva 510. So far, the vape seems more consistant, no leakage. It definally would seem easier for workdays.

Also, I bought the Joye eGo Zipped Case for when I go out or to work. It's a hard shell case that will fit batteries, small bottles of liquid, carts, etc.. It was a bit pricey but who cares at this point.

Still going strong!

Hi Carrie, and welcome!

I was just thinking, could you send back the Apollo you ordered and get a 2nd Riva 510 lite kit for backup? You're doing SO well, it'd be a shame if you got derailed because of equipment failures (not saying they will, its just that they *can*).

Hi ancient puffer, thanks for the welcome!

I have been thinking of this all day. I do have a 5 pack of atomizers coming from LF. But, for thirty bucks, it might be worth it to get another set. Apollo does have a 30 day money back guarantee.

I will probably buy another set by days end.
