Hard draw atty blues :(

I have an atty that forces me to suck till me eyeballs pop out of my skull. Ok not quite as bad as all that but its most unpleasant. The battery is fine, its just this 1 atty that does the same thing on any battery.

Why might this be and what might ease the draw a bit?

Chances are, it's going south. Whenever that happens to me, the next stage is cold, dead.

Some attys just do that. Make sure you have plenty backups..

I forgot some info. Yes its cleaned. And to answer the other posts, its about a week old and is a 510.

Try unscrewing it just a tad. Should allow more air in. Just inhale a little slower.

Could be a bad atty....that has happened to me a few times...seems like 1 out of 10 that I get dont perform well from the start

If i remember right some 510 atties have a plastic seal washer or something that seals up after use from heat melting the opening for airflow smaller..Wish I could remember what post that was, but if unsqrewing it a bit doesn't help you could try massaging that open a bit. Just keep in mind to go in from the connector end and not to go up tooo far because you could damage the heating coil. If I find that post I'll link it here.

There is a small plastic spacer that can melt from heat below the ceramic pot inside the atomizer. That piece has the potential to make the draw harder. If you're not worried about breaking that atty you can try messing around with a needle to try to loosen it up a little, or you could try blowing out the atty really hard... I guess we're still not done with improving the tech.

if blowing it out and soaking it in grain alcohol doesn't help - toss it...
