It could be that they're getting 'aged'. I have a couple that don't really work all that spectacularly on the 3.7, but I can put them on the 5V passthrough and extract a little bit longer life out of them.

I think there are a couple of air channels on atomizers that could potentially get blocked, thereby screwing up the draw, but I will leave it to the people who really understand atomizer anatomy to speak on that.

I have had the same problem from time to time. There are several things that might help. I've taken such an atty to the sink, run warm water through it, and then blow the water out several times. Repeat. Repeat. That usually improves the draw. But if not, then I have soaked the atty in alchohol for 10 to 15 mins. Then draw some alchohol through, blow it out, etc., then let dry for a few hours (don't do this with isopropyl alchohol as it is poisonous. I used some cheap rum.) Then 3 drops of eliquid directly on the bridge, and back to vaping. That often clears the draw pretty well.

Sometimes the paper on the outside is down too far plugging the vent holes. I just take my knife cut around it at the bottom and remove a tiny piece clearing them. That's on KR808D-1. Another thing I do is take a straightened paper clip and carefully make sure the hole from the battery end to the mouthpiece end is cleared.
