Well for some darn reason, it's getting impossible to buy a pound of meat of any type for much less than $7. My husband got sticker shock when he accompanied me to the grocery store and he wanted to pick up a "cheap" package of bologna.

While the prices of groceries do seem to be inversely related to the health of the economy, I think that over-regulation has been pushing all prices up.

I've yet to see one single politician who has done exactly what he or she has promised to the American people and I suspect Ron Paul won't be any different than those who came before him.
Sadly.

you know how I know he's sincere? the major media outlets are all terrified of him. they talk about him like he has no chance of winning to discourage people who are boarderline from voting for him. The media REALLY doesn't want him in there, so that HAS to mean he's good.

Get as many new presidents as you want, as long as the same congress and senate are in there nothing will change.

Quite true, the president is only the executive part of the government, meaning he only has the power to enforce the rules set forth by the legislative branch of the government, meaning congress and the senate. On another note a strong president with enough public support can force the hand of the legislative branch into passing what he wants thou like FDR did. All he really needs to do is annouce some legislation he wants to pass to the public, and then denounce in public every member of the Senate and Congress that votes and speaks against the legislation in question.

Nonsense.

The only reason the FSPTCA became law was because Obama signed it into law.

The only reason Obama appointed FDA officials tried to ban e-cigarettes and grossly misrepresented their health risks in 2009/2010 was because Obama appointed FDA Deputy Commissioner Josh Sharfstein staunchly opposes tobacco harm reduction, and because Obama appointed FDA Commissioer Margaret Hamburg and Obama appointed DHHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelious endorsed Sharfstein's e-cigarette prohibition campaign.

The only reason why FDA's Lawrence Deyton (who was hired by Obama appointed officials at DHHS and FDA) stated that the FDA intends to propose a new regualation that would apply Chapter IX of the FSPTCA to e-cigarettes (and other unregulated tobacco products) is because Obama appointed FDA officials (an perhaps Obama appointed DHHS officials) endorsed it.

In sum, electing a new president next year will change everything, as all Obama appionted officials at DHHS, FDA, CDC, US SG, NIH, etc. would be fired immediately.

It is highly unlikely that any of the Republican candidates for President would allow the FDA to propose/approve a new regulation that would apply Chapter IX to currently unregulated tobacco products.

Things WILL change because the American people are tired of lies and corruption. Ron Paul intends to expose the crooks and liars that have been ruining America for a very long time.
