Harsh diy

I mix strawberry cream and blueberry cream. I use tfa and cap multiple different flavors from both. I use tfa sweet cream or Bavarian cream from tfa cap or lorean. CNT nic with nic river pg30 vg70 at 3mg nic. I've went down to 3% flavoring and steeped for months. Everything is harsh in my rda until it heats up after a few hits then it's fine. Cant figure out what I'm doing wrong. I squeeze air out of the bottles every few days and give it a shake while storing in a cool dark place. I also use .5% sweetener. I've tried using one flavor at a time and mixing multiple. Are tfa ripe strawberry and sweet strawberry harsh flavors? I get store bought juices and add my own nic and it's fine so it's not the nic. I've vaped my vg straight and it's super smooth. Just wondering if anyone else has slightly harsh DIY and is there a cure.

There are triacethin-based "smoothers" for liquids. TPA sells one of them.

If even 3% feels harsh to you, you might wanna consider avoiding those flavorings at all.

Strawberry seems to be harsh for me too. Hubby, on the other hand, smooth as silk.

Oops. I guess the OP doesn't think it's the nic, so nevermind.

if it is just until coil heats up, it might be different evaporating temperatures of PG/VG/Nic, and not yet heated enough to vapourise all at once, leaving it more balanced to harsher elements?

I'll try the pg by itself as a test and try cutting the .5% sweetener. Other then that I'm at a loss. Nothing store bought gives me harshness on the first few hits.
