wood:

Please check out the Canadian vendors here in the subforum.

The kit you ordered, while OK, is simply proprietary to the retailer you purchased it from, and this can mean a HUGE overpayment. We're glad you made it here so you can explore your options.

As the person above stated, a kit from HAPPYVAPER would be your best bet! Jack can steer you in the right direction.

Any other questions, feel free to post or PM.

Take care,

Ryan

Here's a list of Canadian vendors I've purchased from or heard good things about...

Happy Vaper - Canada Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid, DIY Concentrated Flavorings!
Premium Electronic Cigarette Kits, Juice + Supplies
Evapers.com - Your vapor source
NorthernVapor.com, Canada's choice for vapor & electronic cigarettes!
Electro Vapors Canadian Ecigs Accessories and Eliquid
Vapables.com

Evapers offers the best deal on the eGo unless you're willing to order from China at Greenhouse One | Electronic Cigarettes | Atomizers | Eliquid ... It's a better deal because the sets evapers sells comes with 2 atomizers, 2 batteries and 2 cones. All other suppliers will skimp on one or more of these and sell at the exact same price.

The KR-808D1 is a great model ! I think you`ll have fun :) do check out happyvaper.com because he`s in Canada and has the replacement cartomizers your unit will require. Just fill it with nicotine and you`re all set.

Good luck!

In the future, a Joye 510 or Joye Ego will be a great upgrade, you dont need the PCC with a big battery.

vapables.com does and they are in Canada as well. Many e cigarettes are re-branded with the vendors own name or they name the device themselves. The joye 510 example is sometimes called the 510, titan, Dura, Dura C, ect. By the looks of the picture on that site, I would say that it is a KR-808d1. Great unit, but that site has them a bit overpriced. could be worse, you could have bought the smoking everywhere model that gets everyone the first time. Enjoy your new vape, I think its a great model. You`ll upgrade anyway, if it takes you off tobacco, thats all that really matters right now.

let us know :)

I dont know of any candian suppliers who stock the KR808 except for the empty cartos at happyvaper. The good news is that you can get an adpter for almost any model to screw it into your battery of choice. For example, you can get an adapter that would allow you to vape your KR cartos on an ego battery !!!!! And they on ly cost a few bucks. The adapter you would need is the DSE901/KR-808d1 to 510 dapter should you want the Ego battery.

theres a learning curve in the world of vaping, this forum has a lot of material that will help you understand your new found freedom from Smokes, there allot of people with allot of knowledge. the classifieds can be a helpful place to haunt, when that time comes. Refilling cartomizers, dripping juice, are the 2 main methods for long term Vapers so far with a new curve going to juice fed mods.

outside of blank cartomizers, Kr808d-1 hardware is hard to come by in Canada. I have a ton of spare Kr808d-1 parts, if theres something you need in particular, just PM.

A 510 kit is a wise investment anyhow, since the 510 now has cartomizers available too, and a much more reliable battery performance wise.
