Somebody please correct me if I am in error here.

Email to Smart Fixx:

7/17/08 You shipped me 2 white batteries. When they arrived, I checked them on my charger, green... good. They both failed to recharge 1st time I tried.

Today 7/24/08 I received yet another bad replacement battery. Checked it on charger... just like the other 2, green light indicating full charge, but tip did NOT flash when hooked up to charger just like the other 2.

As I understand it and have witnessed as well, when a battery is connected to the charger, it flashes to indicate it's properly connected.

Apparently you do not check the product prior to shipment.

I now have 3 useless white pen style batteries.

Now if your white batteries do not work in the same charger as the black ones, my bad.

If I get the opportunity I will attempt to return the 3 batteries to you for your examination.

DO NOT send anymore batteries!

I have another source for those in the future.

Thank you for your past service and I may still use you for cartridges,

Gunny

Sorry for the poor phone pic, but it's the best I can do.

Notice that the SF white has a larger center piece than the SF black or the NJoy white. (click photo to enlarge)

Perhaps the SF white is for the mini and uses a different charger, I don't know and it would appear neither does SF, as I clearly asked for a white pen style.

Maybe leaford or somebody else with multiple styles would know the answer to this.

Hmmm- when I asked specifically for hte white parts, SmartFixx informaed me they were 'out of stock', but apparently you and someone else has been gettign htem all along. I had wanted to try the white parts as someone mentioned they 'worked better' than the new black ones, and was told that from SmartFixx- I guess the email recipient at SF didn't bother to actually get up and check apparently.

I'm not too thrilled withhte blakc batteries either by hte way- they don't hold charge anymore for more than 2-3 hours. They started off workign real well, but quickly lost hteir staying power. I alos dropped on the other night, and it's now useless- won't take a charge at all- it was one of my new ones they sent to replace a dead one with too grrr!

Fits perfectly and functions perfectly.... until dead then it's the end of the line. Tip doesn't even flash when hooked up to the charger. Charger goes red for a couple of minutes then goes green. I think they're probably old used junk. Inside the atomizer end looks previously used.

Youknow, that's something I've wondered about before, whether some suppliers might repackage and send out old returned pieces.

My Sedanse, for example, had a few little mars in its finish. Not exactly nicks or dings, just a couple spots where the finish was a bit less glossy, liek it was worn down.

Other than one battery flaring up and dying, it's worked fine, so I don't worry over it, but I do wonder.
