Has anyone clearanced the VAMO for a T3?

I never used a t3, so not familiar with them, but I thought you just replace the heads so couldn't you just use the same base over and over? That was the reason I suggested it.

Edit: by your response I'm assuming the base is what get relaced?

It's a bottom coil, the whole base IS the coil, which screws onto the "tank" clearo assembly. You would have to turn down each new atomizer you bought. AKA, a pain in the ...

I just use my t3s on my egos. I use tanks and rbas on the vamo. I like my pvs and juice delivery systems to be of congruent diameter.

I personally don't care how my stuff looks so long as it works, and laugh to myself every time someone shows concern for the aesthetics of their vape.

I really don't like tanks (cartos taste nasty, and I like to switch juices). I tried one ONCE (got it for free) and never took it out of my vape drawer again.

I've got an AGA-T I'm using sometimes too, but I'm still trying to get it dialed in, and it's HUGE. I don't like having such a huge device all the time. In fact, that's why I've got some 18350 batteries coming for the VAMO, it's too damn big!

I haven't measured except by eye, but it looks like the V3 vamo has the same clearance as the my V1. So doesn't look like that has been addressed yet with the new models. I don't use the T3 much anymore anyway, so it doesn't bother me. Loving my locking DCT

concern here. say you did open the drip well up enough to fit the t3 on the ego threads. how do you unscrew it? you have to hold the tank to take it off because the base is down inside the drip well. turn the tank and the base stays put, you have juice all over , correct?

An adapter makes more sense, thats what i use as the same thing happened with a rebuildable ce4 i tried.

You should ALWAYS tighten your base/clearo more than your clearo/battery anyways. Any ego threaded device will have the same "problem". I figure it's common sense to not tighten them to the point where that becomes an issue.

I used to find that carto tanks had a more consistent vape than clearos did. Always had to move them around to keep the wicks wet, whereas tanks are gravity fed. Then the T3 bottom coil came out and I loved it. Then it too started having wicking issues, though it wasn't from not being wet. Still a great clearo compared to others, but I think I'll wait for the next revision

If you re-wick your heads then hacking up the base wouldnt be a problem. Just like the guy above this ^^

I'm going to try this now, slim down a T3 head or 2, as it seems like with re-wicking, buying/slimming new heads will be very rare

The eVod will fit but because the clearance is so low, there's no airflow. Still need the adapter. Sorry! It would be nice to see new heads come out for the Vamo to replace the current design that *would* accept the larger eGo-threaded devices....

For what's it worth I finally received my Vamo today and used a couple of eVod's on it with no airflow issues. They look kinda funny sitting on a Vamo since they're so little but I'm happy with the performance.

I'm just really hoping the quality lasts. I have a feeling I'll be buying something else in 2 or 3 months if this one has problems too. I hate upgrading to a new $60 mod every few months. The provari people may be right.....suck it up and spend it...
