Has anyone else burnt their lips on their rda's?

Get a thick glass drip tip.

A: Theyre tougher than they look

B: They dont conduct heat as well as metal

C: Your lips will thank you for it later.

This is mainly directed at people who vape at a subohm level anywhere between .15-.5, I have a fused clapton build on my mutation x V4 and it literally burns my lip sometimes when I'm vaping around 70 watts or higher.. I was thinking maybe my coils are too high off the deck.. anyone with any similar experiences?

I have a derringer with no driptip, do elephant pulls (heard that phrase on this forum somewhere), 0.33 builds, and dont burn my lips... I think the walls of your atty and/or mod are too thin and don't absorb the heat enough. Just my theory based on no research but my own experience.

I have to have a delrin tip on my subtank, that thing runs hotter than anything else I've used! Oh btw Airflow? It is breezy or are you not getting enough? Huge difference in heat there

I forgot to put the top cap back on one of my drippers once. ONLY once!!! Lol! 6 wraps of N80 @ 3mm and 50W straight to the bottom lip.

Luckily the Coil Herpes is usually a one time outbreak.

If it burns your lip at 70w, your Setup or RDA is wrong for that power - reduce it.
If it Vapes cool at 70w - Crank it up

It is about the Balance, not the Power level.
