Oh dear lord, will it ever get here? I have been waiting for almost 5 days for my Halo Triton. I am so excited after lurking around the forum and talking to some fine folks to start vaping. I almost went to the gas station today and bought a ....ty $5.99 e-cig, I didn't do it, because I want the experience to be everything I hope it will be, but damn, the post office takes forever. Priority mail 2-3 day service. It shipped out from Halo Monday and is still not here................O.K. rant over. Somebody tell me something funny or interesting or something while I burn my lungs some more with another analog. Please.

It took 8 days for my Halo G6 kit to arrive. It finally came today and it was worth the wait. Happily vaping away and analog free. :)

W.E.A.T.H.E.R. .............. L.O.U.S.Y. ............. ground and air transportation suffered severe delays. Worst weather in 100 years and all that explains a lot in SOME cases; have mercy on the USPS. It's in the "news". Should recover soon. It snowed in Florida. Might not explain yours - BUT - it snowed in freaking FLORIDA.

I just placed my first order so ill be losing my vapemail virginity if you will sometime within the next week (hopefully). Im already anxious and want it to be here now haha. I ordered from Mt. Baker Vapor last night and chose the free shipping option as it was over 50. I guess ill find out how long their free shipping normally takes.

Funny thing is…while other packages can take weeks anything I order from Amazon is here in two days or sometimes even overnight. I often wonder if they have some special standing or get special handling because of their volume. I'm guessing they get huge shipping discounts too. But then again they usually ship UPS or FedEx. (Which I also prefer as they deliver it to the door rather than forcing me to drive to the post office for pick up)

    No you can't
I placed an order; made it to my local PO I had a tracking number and watched it stay they for five days then shipped to another PO than shipped back to the vendor still waiting for the my order to get to the vendor that was placed on 12/14.

Needless to say I was ...... at USPS their give lots of phone numbers that don't work or people are not there. Any way found out it wasn't the USPS fault after all the vender didn't put the name of my street on the label only house number.

I have gotten to the point where I literally wait for the package to say 'arrived at local PO' then I go and pick it up as soon as they open the next day before delivery. My delivery guy doesn't get here until the evening, and some days he decides not to even come. It's such a wonky system. You'd think with them having to borrow money and all to save themselves from not going out of business they would be working 10x harder to keep their jobs. But that's a government funded job for ya I suppose. XD

Last month I actually got the lady to go to the delivery drivers car and get the package, I was like yeah I have to leave now and that package has very important things in it. (vapemail, ITS A SERIOUS SITUATION) ;)

My package was held "hostage" in mailman's truck for 5 days! Their state of art tracking system always show "notice left", but I didn't get the notice! 4th day, I actually stayed home and "jumped" him when he came. But I couldn't do anything when he said "nope, I don't have any package". Of course, next day, he dropped the notice in the mailbox without even ringing the doorbell. I finally got my package by going to the post office.
And the worst part was, the package was my first ProVari Mini.

USPS ships mighty fast for me. Priority 1-3 Day shipping if i order from the USA.

I agree, I always go priority mail. They do what they can, but also the crappy winter we've been having does put some delays in. Very rarely have I hit a speed bump which adds maybe another day until delivery, i.e. they sent the package to the wrong local sort facility, and while I haven't really had that happen with a PV related purchase yet, it does end up being a downer to wait that extra day, especially if you're waiting on new vapor flavors.

That being said, I used to ship out everything through DHL until they stopped doing domestic service. They were the cheapest solution, had a free tracking number, and after shipping out maybe 10 packages within 1 season, they gave me a discounted rate permanently to my account. Now, the only people that offer a good price, and a discounted rate for shipping via paying online and printing your packing slip out, IS the USPS.

Priority mail, 1-3 business days shipping for around $5-7, with a free tracking number, compared to UPS which is ground 5-8 business days for the same package and costs $22. I'd say even with a delay, my bank account thanks me, I'll take the extra day hit, lol.

I can only say that MBV gets your package in the mail pretty darn quick - after that, it's up to the post office.

    Fingers crossed for you!

Kind of dissapointed in how long it takes a lot of our vendors to ship, I pay a little extra to buy from the US to support American business and then the overpriced vendor prints the shipping label immediately but doesnt bother dropping it in the mailbox for a week. Seems more common than not these days and is especially frustrating when you pay extra to ship faster only to have it not leave for a week. I do a lot of e-commerce and this is not the norm for other industries, I get some vendors get clogged with orders for a sale but most of the time its just laziness and poor business.
