this has been a fun thread to read. USPS sucks when I'm out of E-juice :) but they seem to do an ok any other time lmao.
well almost.... had a few problems over the years, some majorly bad, but afterall......there a Government agency........ as much as i'm not a fan of the USPS. i like them allot more than some other Government agencies i could mention ha ha

seriously in my area..... they have got some deal going with Fex Ex this past year which seems to have improved there service but made Fed Ex one of my least favorite as of late. they now say they tried to deliver at the house(Fed Ex). but in reality they just run it over to my local post office. (in the late afternoon) and drive strait past my house and never stop here cause there lazy and (there a contractor not an actual Fed Ex driver). they've never thrown any TV's at me. lol but i digress

when i go to the post office to investigate they say mail has already been sorted for that day, and there are no packages. only after arguing with that dude. he goes and checks the Fed Ex pallet and gets my package, cause he's lazy too. now they now me. i get service. ha ha

cause he knows i'm not leaving without my package lol. and he knows i know ;)
but i still have to drive to the post office right before they close or wait till next day

I know this my not help your situation but it's what I've went through too.
First I ave to say after the bs I went through w/ usps.
I now have more than enough of everything just in case , ya never know.

I know this is a bit costly but I always have it sent 3-5 day b/c the other way it will take forever.
Plus I deal w/ US vendors..

Ok here's my rant. USPS sucks a##, priority shipping should not take 6 days! No wonder there going bankrupt. Waiting on my 1st e-cig that didn't get purchased at the gas station, because the one from the gas station broke. 15th day without a cigerette but man I am JONSIN. Found some patches and I did everything but lick that bad boy before I thru it on my arm. The first three days were hard but theres like a second phase to quitting smoking that Ive never made it far enough to experience. Well I'll be sittin here with my bubbilcious and my nicotine patches tell Monday so wish me luck. USPS you suck and I now hate you.
Probably that Obama guy up to it again, stealin citizens vapes dang gubment deliverin mail for a small fee. but it's cool just hang in there I hear it gets better.... I know..... I joined the party a little late

Maybe it's just Priority sucks because when I ship from MadVapes in NC to Rochester NY 1st Class Mail it usually takes less than 48 hours from when they get it from MV to when it's in my mailbox..I just did an order Monday it took MV a bit over a day to process my order as they were busy..it was processed through CORNELIUS NC USPS Origin Sort Facility January 31, 2012 - 6:04 pm and it was delivered before noon today.

To me that's pretty fast for it to go 709 miles for $2.99 shipping (this order the shipping was free though because I spent over $75). I have done over 7 orders with MV/1st Class USPS shipping and the longest it took was 5 days (when MV was super busy so processing took a couple days) including a weekend..usually I get my packages in 2-3 days...

Backups for everything. I totally hate them, and one of my first posts was about emergency juice. I have learned to find a juice retailer in your own state, or make your own (diy) I use and love tasty vapor.us among a few others, but they are my go to. A friend of mine also recommended buying batteries and ecig accessories on ebay. I just found this Joyetech eGo 18650 MOD , and ordered it so I can get my chain vape on and just buy actual batteries. Anyway best of luck to you, and eff the post office!!

You know, speaking of backups for backups...

My 1st ever PV I got had written in its description;"1 carts will last days,week"...

Well,caught with pants down as they only lasted me a good day (maybe a bit more);

Was left high and dry knowing nothing about such devices, where to get/resupply but from China :/ (and to say I claim to be an intertubes king)...quickly ordered refills but I knew they were 3 weeks away.

Fast forward today I own 10 eGo type batteries,2 Omegas,5 GGs (1xstorm 2xstealth 2 Slims), 2 troogs,a Revolution v2 and an e-pipe;

Got 8 18650,12 18350,2 14500,10 123a (17335) 6 10440//Imust have 10 vizions,30 ce2/3, 30 boge/kanger cartos,fluxo/carts (name it,I got it in xxx amount) tanks,drip tips,drip shields,306... and aat least 2 litres of e-juice bought+ a good 2 litres of DIY with enough flavorings and whatnots required to make my own and drown an elephant in it.

You wanna speak about backups for backups?

More to come

Going through a dry spell probably makes you a really big "backups" kind of person. LOL

8 sets of batteries.
50ml dekang (emergency only)
5v passthrough
2 chargers
2 car adapters
4 boxmods as backups
at least 10 cartos.
2 tanks
10 801 attys

Plus whatever else I have lying around.

EDIT: Even when vaping becomes 100% mainstream they will carry the most basic setups. I may be wrong, but I doubt they will carry 5v devices and protected batteries at 24 hour convenience stores.

I know how you feel about the USPS! No wonder why they are bankrupt. If they could only learn from UPS and Fed ex. Those two companies don't seem to have money issues and poor/slow service.

This got me started right away of figuring out how much I vape, and how much I can be down to before I have to put in an order. This way I don't look like a crazy man at the mailbox all the time, or freaking out that I will run out. :)

Imagine you live on a dead end road and at the end of this dead end road is a tiny post office. The USPS has a rule for this so that folks that live on this dead end road get free PO boxes, but can never get home delivery. They also have a rule that the PO box address is the only valid address for any USPS delivery.

Now the Patriot Act is passed and now all banks, credit card companies, investement companies, and others cannot send mail to a PO box per the law. USPS cannot route or deliver mail not mailed to PO box for folks on those dead end roads that have a post office at the corner.

Welcome to my world.

(Great idea for a thread though as many of ECF'ers have had, or will have issues with the USPS and it gives a place to vent.)

Well ecf community right after I got my order I was on the ball ordering more stuff cause to be honest with you that day sucked, and I really dont care to be in the postion where it's me walkin back and forth in my living room, lookin out the window every 15 seconds like a crazy man starin down the barrel of an almost empty pack of bubbalicious while i think to myself man my freakin jaw hurts again. Man that sucked! Anyways I placed my order the day after, got me some backups :2cool: priority shipping 2-3 day and guess what..... 6 days it took and if I remember right I think it showed up on horseback. jk My point, yeah I think there are goin be some people who need this thread because from what i've experienced usps service is gettin pretty ruff! With that being said, I remember a time when they were my go to shipping provider. :(
