Some marriages are not made in heaven, it doesn't mean that you can't make it one, in fact repaired relationships are often stronger than ones that have never been challenged if both find new understanding and personal growth.

This letter to the FDA from Bill Godshaw (long time anti-smoking activists) has some very good information in it also:

I guess I'm just lucky - we've never really had to "work" at our marriage, just been happy with each others company from day one and accept each other the way we are.
Maybe 26 years of marriage with no kids is the secret, I dunno.......

Wow, what flavor are you vaping? I can't smell the peach after I vape in my car for 45 minutes straight. The smell seems to go away very quickly

Congrats!!

My party isn't as good as Skypea's, no dancing bananasStill, it's a party in a box.
I'm not married and don't know your relationship with your wife, so no advice here. Might be why I'm not married. Just know that you have made a milestone in your progress, giving up analogs is a big thing, even without a party.
Congrats!!

Good for you! Sounds like you managed to find a compromise that works for both of you, I don't think you really need to worry to much about the kids seeing it, but its not about what i think, just don't let her turn them stumbling upon you occasionally or wanting to sit with dad occasionally because their curious or just want to hang with dad who needs a vape at the moment, into a new reason to insist you quit or go back outside ! Not seeing you constantly with it is a good compromise, maybe eventually you can work it up to an occasional night in front of the tv on your recliner with it, as she learns more and the kids begin to get older, further compromise should and probably will come as you both work at. Now you have two things to be proud of , vaping , and asserting your right to be you! Good luck!
To all who have been helping: Thank you so much!
I had another minor verbal spat with the wife this weekend (the weekend seems to hold these things, maybe it's spending too much time around each other
She started asking me what my goals were, regarding vaping... I replied in a very even tone that implied that there was no room for negotiation (we know each other very well, even tones of voice...), "My goal was to quit smoking, and I've done that. I have no goal with regards to vaping."
She was attempting to begin the "Now I want you to quit vaping, and when is that going to happen?" conversation. She did not respond because she knew that I wasn't having it. That was a win for me!
One small step for vaping... one huge leap for vaping kind!
Thanks guys and gals... This place (ECF) is, well... special. I'm glad I'm here.
