Good help with the center post issue, guys. I had the same problem, the atomizer was intermittent at first; it worked if I screwed it in very tight, but after a while stopped entirely. After the fix it seems consistent. I wonder if the atty was pushing the post back.
Thinking about buying a 901 adapter and some Atomz. Does anyone have a good idea how long they last with the V2? It's been guzzling juice all day like it's 1978.

Finally got my shipping confirmation #24764, been checking my email
every 30 minutes for about the last 30 hours.
I have been saving up to get my first HVPV and the timing worked out
perfectly I almost went with a 6v from someone else but always wanted
a 5v and the v2 came out at the perfect time.

W00T! Mine just shipped too, and I must agree with the above said sentiments... It is amazing what going to sleep for a day can do to make time move faster.

Received confirmation on Tuesday morning. Thought for sure it'd be here today, but looks like it's sitting at my post office according to tracking. Now I gotta wait til Monday >:-(

I had the same post problem other have reported.
I attempted the tweezer fix, but did not have any which could grip it. I flipped her over and tried the tapping method you described in the shipping thread. using a flat end of a metal post (drill bit, used the end which goes in the drill) and gave it a few taps, could not detect movement. gave it a test, no love. tried the tap 3 more attempts, each time no worky, and the last time i tried it it sheared off the rubber washer from the base of the post. tested again, still no fire.
Is this adapter ruined? how could it now be almost flush to the base and still not be connecting with the atty?
Additional: tongue test resulted in expected tingle.

Heck, I got my confirmation Friday, and I'm still in awe at how the USPS can't get something a whole maybe 120 miles over the weekend. They usually do, by the way. Guess I should have made a road trip. Oh, the antici..................p...p...pation!
