Has anyone gotten a film in their mouth from an e-liquid?

I honestly can't say I have ever had a "film" in my mouth - I can however state that there seems to be some flavors that I specifically can taste a "waxy" almost emollient aftertaste. Similar to me when using the straight blistex then licking your lips, very weird to me, but only happens with certain e-liquids I have tried.

You might want to add what ratio you are vaping: 70pg/30vg??? 50/50??? 30pg/70vg???? This might help others help you with your question. :)

I love the taste and amount of vapor but hate the film. I drink lots of water when I vape.

Absolutely, I vape Boba's Bounty all the time and find it results in that type of feeling. Actually, anything that is supposed to be "creamy" seems to do it for me if it is a high VG juice.

I only get a film in my mouth if I'm using microcoils in my protank without a flavor wick, the juice splatters up the mouthpiece and with pulling a bit hard you will get juice into your mouth. I don't know but from what I've seen in videos of dual coil stock setups but I'm just assuming they don't come with flavorwick(s) so try laying a flavorwick ontop to control some of the juice splatter.

Don't put film in your mouth! It's for taking pictures silly! :p

I can't say I have ever run into that, or maybe just not that noticeable. I have encountered some aftertastes with certain flavors, mostly bakery type or very sweet juices. I also always have a mug of tea at hand, so perhaps I am washing it away before I can taste it. Hmmm...

I've never noticed a filmy feeling in my mouth, but there have been many times where shortly after vaping I go to take a drink, and swishing the water in my mouth suddenly releases a burst of flavor from whatever juice I was vaping, so obviously some of that flavoring is sticking to the inside of my mouth.

ah yes i know the film you speak of very well. and water seems to be the key to removing it. and brush your teeth really well. i used to get the same thing when i was smoking a pipe and clove cigarettes. i think it has something to be with the dehydration. and i drink 1-2 gallons of water a day and still get it some times.

I'm going through that right now... Nothing tastes good.... Every juice is bland and it just tastes bad... I thought it was a bad juice mix but after I rewicked my atty and tried 5 other flavors I was stumped... This will certainly be a problem when I decide to go completely of analogs :(

That sounds like more like the dreaded "vaper's tongue". Do a search, you'll find loads of threads about it.
