I had several 510s. I have a couple of mod. I still use my 510 part of the time. I have no problem with recharging the batteries with a multicharger. I just wait until I have 5 that need charging and still have several that are charged. The mods are good as far as battery time but IMO they don't produce much more than the 510. IMO the 510 is one of the best ecigs.

I think you will find that most of us are happy with the various 510 configurations you can put together. I just had a cheap BE510 kit that worked great except for the batter life. I have a 1 hour commute too and from work and I would drain both of my batteries pretty quickly. I invested in a TW Tornado and I couldn't be happier. The two biggest benefits for me are being able to use all of my 510 parts and one battery lasts me 24 hours. I usually put a new one on @ 5:30 p.m. and it lasts me until the next day @ 5:00 (not 24 of constant vaping - this includes sleepy time)!!!

Great advice from all the experienced vapors out there and here's my .02.

If you bought ONE and are concerned about dollars for vaping.....then stick with the one. It's my opinion you chose the best ecig for starters in the 510, as backed by other members on this post. Problem with buying a different line is you will find yourself suddenly buying everything you need for that model as well. I spent all kinds of money switching to the KR808D-1 only to find myself draggin out the 510 again for fear of having wasted my money there. I would say the same thing if you had purchased the KR first, it's a nice machine and great for on the go.

Stick with your 510 until you can grab a mod to extend batt life, get with 2 or 3 good juices, and wait for the sun to shine on another option. The 510 rocks and is a solid unit. I dusted mine off and use it more than the KR right now.

Just stay off the analogs and you'll be fine.

I'd go with the eGo personally...sure it's more expensive but it removes the need for a PT or a PCC so in reality the cost is virtually the same..and you still use your 510 atties and carts that you already have..
me and my fiance started with 2 standard 510 kits, a car adapter, and 2 PTs..I was considering getting 2 PCCs but got one eGo kit to give that a try...it completely decluttered things...now the PTs are unused in a box, I've got my 2 eGo, and she's got all the regular 510 batteries (well I kept 1 as a just in case, but have yet to have to use it)

This is an excellent question! So many people move on from a 510 style to something bigger, longer lasting, or whatever, and there are certainly reasons to do so. There is however, and I know I experience this myself, a tendency to look at the wide variety of PVs out there and wonder, could I be using something better?
If you don't mind watching someone talk for 20 minutes, this is a vrr good video discussing such things. I know it doesn't directly answer the original question, but perhaps such questions that it does are also relevant eh.

YouTube - Barry Schwartz: The paradox of choice

I really enjoyed that Otter. Thanks for making me THINK.

If money is a Issue then i would suggest you get a USB PT. I just got one this past week and it is a god send. It has a Inline Battery so if i need to get up from my desk and want to vape i dont have to switch to a Battery.

Mods are nice but not necessary. I would suggest stocking up on Atty's and Juice then once money is not an issue and you are into it good then you can look at the more expensive mods.

I purchased three of the 510 no box kits from cignot.com (after I tried the first and decided that this was for me I bought two more). This way I can have a charger at home, one at work, and keep one in the car just in case. I've been using these since october and although I've lost 1 atty and battery (duh...damn bar vaping :)) the others are still running strong. I do get tired of the batteries sometimes though. I'm looking into a box mod. I'd say that you should stick with the 510's for now and that way you can share atty's, batteries, and mouthpieces. I'd think that between the two of you...three batteries a piece should work....as long as you're near a charger.

I was a little confused about the ego stuff being interchangeable with the 510. members who pointed out that a good ego batt will eliminate the need for a PT and PCC may well be correct.
I have at least a week or so before there's any disposable cash available to order anything. As long as I'm near an outlet, I've been okay. A member here lent me a PCC which is a help.
Again, my thanks for your help.

I am exclusively a 510 man and will be from now on.

But only after I figured it out.

I tried every cartridge mod on here before I finally got that fixed. I tried adapters to go with bigger bats until I found the right bat. I hated the single bat charger and finally got that right. I was clogging atty after atty until I figured out that it is NOT the atties doing that but the type of juice you use.

Here is my 510 system: Joye or Titan 510 atties which you can get virtually anywhere--Mega bats for the 510 bought by the 5 pack---The 5 bat at a time charger available at several places--Pillbox 38 refillable cartridges.

Note that I found these cartridges accidentally at totally wicked. They do NOT fit most 510s. I order them for the filler, throw the cartridges away and use the cartriges that come with the atties.

I THINK the filler is some kind of felt folded back on itself a couple of times.

Just fill the cartridge almost full, insert the felt and vape until it is bone dry. If it starts to leak in a few days, wash and dry the filler and you are good to go again.

Yup, I have tried it all, fish filter filler, ADM spring mod, wool, NOTHING works as well as this felt.

Wish I had found this system a thousand bucks ago. It has worked for me for months. I just vape and enjoy it.

I wish I could communicate to the Newbs not to waste money experimenting with all those models out there, just spend an initial 150 or 160 bucks to begin with and you are good to go from the get-go. From that point on, you will only order replacement parts as needed.

Enjoyed your post. In it you mentioned the multi chargers or 5 at a time chargers. Where did you find them. I have been looking everywhere.
Thanks.

Everything I listed is available through totally wicked.

The charger is here.

With a couple of 5 boxes of mega bats (I have been on my first box for about 3 months now) and this charger, I have done away with the PTs and personal charging kits. Just don't need them as you can charge 5 bats in just a few hours.

I have probably read as much about cart fillers as anyone -- even the character that used human hair. LOL

But, unlike you, I haven't tried any of them. The only thing I ever shoved into a cart was some poly fill that the wife had in a sewing bin in the basement. I'm sure it was identical to standard cart fill and I had the same meager results. The mere fact that not a day goes by where someone claims to have made the discovery to end all cart fill discoveries is telling and caused me to have pause to try any of them.

I've done nothing but drip for the past 9 months or so.

But, there are times when I'd rather not drip. So Jerry, I'm going to take a leap of faith here and try your method and use your experience in this area. It sounds like you have indeed figured it out.

this sunds good to me..i like the simplicty! But, those look like the 510 carts. I am interested in this felt. I never heard of it.

Richie, the only problem you will find is minor leakage after several days of usage. It's so minor that it might not even bother you. If that happens, it time for a new filler. You can just wash the old one, let that air dry and it's good again for several days.

If it leaks at first you are placing too much liquid in the cart. I intentionally overfill the cart to begin with holding it in a tissue, wipe off the excess and then dab the filler a couple times if anything pooled. But I make my own e-juice and I realize that juice is not cheap for most of you.
