With all the talent flying around this board, people making and designing devices, and attys, new wick and coil designs.I was wondering if anyone has tried making their own flavoring extracts like cold proccessed flavors using CO2 or anything like that.Or does anyone know of a source of information about how to make high quality flavor extracts at home.

So what's your process...and how is it working for you..CO2 extracts are a cold process where they use co2 to force usually pg into the tissue of the the material being extracted, and then releasing the pressure to draw the flavor out....I think it's a bit complicated and there are tools you need to really monitor pressure.I saw a sort of simple hillbilly process for it someplace once.
Not sure how CO2 plays into it, but I am trying making my on extracts. It is a work in progress, but I want to make as much as possible that i can.

Don't have a process yet, but I was going to try it in a vacuum. I have an attachment that will vacuum pint or quart jars, I have used it for marinading. I was going to take some tobacco leaf (from leafonly) with some PG (i vape 50/50 so VG gets used when I mix the juice) and put it under vacuum in a pint jar. As a test to how effective it is, I am only going to wait a week. Then squeeze the leaf in a potato ricer to get as much juice as I can out of it. Then warm it up a little (not hot) and let it filter through coffee filters a couple of times. It is only going to be a small batch, so if it don't work very good it will be no big loss, total I am looking at less than $1 for this experiment.

The CO2 sounds like too much, think I will pass on even thinking about that one.
