I have been using clear carto's for quite awhile now. But today while vaping like a mad man I noticed my carto glowing red?? I am using it on a VV box mod. I have been using them for quite awhile on the VV mod now, but I have never noticed one getting so hot that it started glowing red before. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

I actually took it off and switched to another and it doesn't glow red at all. Nor can I recall any of them EVER having that issue. Could I possibly have a defective carto? Is it safe to keep using?? I am kinda unsure about what to do with this. Any tips, tricks, or suggestions would be helpful.

Only two ways to do that, one is to be dry burning it. The e-liquid is the coolant that prevents the coil from glowing red.
The other is as a coil becomes gunked up the resistence becomes less. As the resistance becomes less the amperage becomes more. That's why we suggest protected batteries, and is what causes unprotected batteries to go off in your face!

Sooo ........ your clearo isn't wicking properly, or you are using unprotected batteries.

This clearo is new out of the box today. The filler seems to be very wet. Matter of fact I just tried to re-fill it and it started leaking out the bottom.
