So, last night I was vaping like a mad man. I went out to pop the kids some popcorn, I put my e-cig in the pocket of my sweats. After taking the kids their corn I started walking back to my room and felt something really hot in my pocket. I reached in and low and behold me e-cig was burning. It was weird as H#LL the tip was glowing red like I was sucking on it. The only way I could get it to stop was to pull the cartridge off the end and then it dis-engaged.

I am wondering if anyone has had this happen to them, and what would cause this to happen?

Yes that happened to me LOL

I have an eGo-T with a push button battery and the cell phone in my pocket was pressed against the button.

Now I use the 1000mah battery with the 5 push shutoff as my main battery and the smaller 650 for when I am charging the main.... I like that

p.s. I have never tried vaping like a mad man..... I will try that tonight.... ( draw ) Muhahahahahahah ( draw )

I have an Addison vaporizer it's a Standard type M. Looks like a black cigarette. And it does not have an activation button, it turns on as you puff on the end of it. and turns off when you stop. I am not sure if it is a different brand of ecig that addison purchased or not. But I thought it was weird. and a bit scary at the same time.

WHAT UP!!! SnowDragon

It happens ALL THE TIME with Blu cigs automatic batteries. Occasionally my Halo automatics will go off for about 1.5 seconds right after I drop them into my pocket, but that's not enough to get hot and they don't continue to go off until the battery is dead like the Blu batts do. Most say that manual batteries are better, I do have manuals as well, and I do like them, but I use both manual and automatic. Manuals won't go off because of air being forced into them because of movement in your clothing, but if the button gets pushed, they will. Some manual batts come with or have optional button covers to prevent that.

I leave my attys fully screwed into my Element and keep it in my pocket frequently, manual or automatic, but I don't really worry about it like I did with my Blu cigs.
