This has happened to me 4 yrs ago when I first started but, I went back to smoking until now. The good thing was that I had a LOT of time to figure out what I wanted from ecigs. So, when I came back and found the ECF. I researched what ecigs would give me everything that I wanted. Basically, I learned my lesson and you don't need every mod on the market to know what you want.

I was stuck behind a car today and the driver was smoking. It amazed me how much I could smell it! Makes me feel bad for the poor folks who were stuck behind me when I was on the coffin nails.
I have ro admin though, sometimes I will get a whif of someone smoking and it'll smell pretty good. But then I take a draw from my e cig and all is right with the world :)

I did a PBusardo review in my head as I smoked my first analog in a while:

"Okay, so lets talk about VTF, vapor, throat hit, flavor. Vapor, in comparison to a 50/50 blend to be fair, was sub-par. Throat hit was decent, to be quite honest. And flavor, wow, watch my review on crab juice to get an idea. For me, it is a definite thumbs down and it actually get a negative street shot out."

I actually imagined this, no disrespect to Phil Busardo.

If I would have had a battery die, I wouldn't have smoked. I would have just struggled and waited until I got home. When I went to vaping, my cig habit ended. It wasn't easy but the day I started, is the same day I quit. I tried one drag off a friend's cig about 6 months ago. I thought I was going to vomit. I couldn't stop coughing and it took forever to get the taste out of my mouth.

Same here. That happened early on to me. TRAPPED! IN A CAR! NO WORKING BATTERIES! And it was pretty much all good and there was no nicotine freak-out experience - like I expected before I got home to a working battery.

It really is amazing how some of these perceptions we had, some times for decades, can change so quickly when we pick up vaping. The cigarette experience experience we all claimed to love and made it so hard to quit rapidly changes to GAG! YARK! And the thought of being without 2 packs of cigarettes, 3 lighters and a book of matches (just in case...) turns into "I don't have a working PV... So what?" And you find you can actually get through - hours even - until you figure out what to do.

same here, I started vaping at the end of December last year. It's been almost 2 months, I've spent 446.00 on vaping supplies, and I don't regret spending one dime of it! I did smoke a few cigs the first week I started vaping, but they tasted so bad. Who wants to smoke when you can vape all these wonderful flavors and still get the nicotine you crave? : )

Been vaping since 10-1-2011. Last week my battery went dead .So i went and got a pack of cig's. Holy crap did they taste really bad. So i waited till i got home [about 2 hours] got a fresh battery and back to vaping gave the cig's to some home less guy. [question] Has this happened to you?

Yes the same thing happened both to my husband and I when we started vaping in late November, and were totally off the real things within the first week. I was just stunned how quickly I couldn't stand a real cigarette... I mean I'd been smoking close to 2 packs a day for about 45 years, a virtual slave to them my entire life. Our lives revolved around whether we had plenty of smokes on hand; together we forked out over $500 a month on the darn things. God forbid we might run out before morning; oh I would go out driving to 7-11 in the middle of the night, no question.

Every day the first week of vaping I made myself smoke one real cig. Even on day one of vaping most of the day - oh geez does that thing burn, it's really darn tasteless, and bam, the cig only lasted a couple minutes. By the 4th day, I couldn't even get through a whole cig, I would stomp it out halfway through. And after that, I didn't ever want to smoke one again. Simply because I am so thrilled we are finally free, I still carry around the carton I bought stocking up for my husband's trip to Mexico in my trunk, there are packs in several rooms in our house, and my glove compartment. And neither one of us have the remotest desire to grab one - it's like magic!

I suffered from chronic bronchitis, with full-on asthma attacks after almost every cold or flu, and coughed bad for 6-8 weeks after any cold, sometimes longer for at least the past 15 years. I technically had COPD, although I only did the breathing meds and breathing machine treatments for a month or so after a cold when I was in essence just like an asthmatic; then I would feel better and stop those meds for many months. For two months after we started vaping I didn't cough at all, even in lousy cold weather, I was amazed how quickly my lung status changed. When we finally did get a big cold/flu virus hub brought home from Mexico, it never took us down as it would have before, and two weeks after it started we were completely finished with it. I'm back to the no coughing, virtually no congestion status again. It is very frustrating to me that no real serious studies have been done to assess vaping's success in getting smokers who want to quit to do it successfully. I always knew no patches or gum would do any good at all - it was the PROCESS of smoking that I simply did not want to give up. My big regret now is that I didn't look into it further when a friend first mentioned them two years ago! No doubt about it, I enjoy vaping much more than smoking, and have no fears whatsoever of going back!

I had the same experience, it only took me 5 days to get disgusted by analogs. I had been smoking for around 16 years, 25-30 cigarettes a day ... And in the weekend or when going out this number usually was alot higher

My intention was not to stop smoking, but to give this a try ... I liked it, still liking it, so continuing just to vape !

I now have sympathy for non-smokers that were forced to smell and breathe in my offensive tobacco smoke.

I remember thinking to myself, these things are killing me, I have to quit. But always put quitting off, lol, because I had no idea how I would do it and knew from previous attempts that it was never permanent.

The ecig is a Godsend!
Though I do avoid doing it in public, hehe, its not as well known in Australia and people think I'm doing something illegal.
One day I had a carto-tank on my rig, and asked me if I was smoking crack, lol
Quite funny, since crack is not really seen on the streets here.
