Sorta. It's wrapped all with one wire. So there are 4 coils with a space between each to bend in a circular shape. Then you run the wick through it, leave in a twisted loop at the top, and the tails in the drip well below. So juice is coming from the top and the bottom. Air flows around the coil and then through the hole in the center. I hope that makes sense.
I don't like true quad coils. They burn through juice to fast.

I may try a dual one though, only because I like a warmer vapor. It's a little on the cool side for me.

One of these days I'm going to try a dual coil. I tried one in the past, but couldn't get both coils to be the same ohm. So I gave up for now. But, I'll try again someday, when I get bored.
Very excited. I mentioned to my boyfriend that I was eyeing the Kayfun clones. Well, he is really against clones and ordered me a kayfun light plus with out me knowing. Gave it to me tonight. So yes, I put a a .8 ohm micro coil in it (vertical coil in line with the air hole) and wrapped it with the hemp....threw it on the nzonic and happiness happened!!!!

Vaperev had the Kayfun Lite Plus in stock last week. I was going to get it, but my money was tied up somewhere else. I want to get a Kayfun 3.1 ES matte with the Semovar, and turn it into a vv/vw hybrid using the hybrid adapter. Between my money going in and out like crazy, and those things not being in stock regularly, is making my dream not come true.
Love that setup Madmlucas! I have an Nzonic clone, and I love the fact that you can stick a 18650 bat & kick it. That's a lovely combination.

I have the all brass nzonic and the stainless one also. They are great mods the all brass being my favorite. Really love the Cronus too. Haven't kicked any of them yet. Still waiting on the HIT IT LE BD to come in. Want to get a new dripper though or at least a new cap for the I go w. Just need some more cash too!

So the hemp is awesome monkey... only vaped out of it a bit but loving it so far! Im gonna make a build on my dripper with it tonight at work.
Nice setup there Madmlucas! I just recently started looking at kayfuns and I think when I bite the bullet Ill try to get either the lite+, or a mini. With the Vertical coil did you wrap the hemp around the outside with a hollow inside?

I will. I just rebuilt it without thinking to take a pic and tank is full. Yes you align the coil over the air hole. I put a tooth pick in it to keep it there. The wrap the ends around the screws. Then lifted it off the bottom. Then heat it and press the coil together with tweezers till it glows right. I used a 5/64 drill bit for the coil.Wrapped one small piece of hemp around it having it cross over itself. Clip the ends and press it to the sides of the lower deck. It's awesome. I'll take a pic next time...or as soon as the tank is empty.

Very nice. I actually did the vertical mico/nano in the protank head while trying to rebuild it for the first time. Its finally working great.

Nice. Oh and sorry those were micro coils. Geeze. I'm going to have to try a vertical wick on a pro tank. I bet it's awesome!!!

Yeah it is pretty awesome on the pro tank.... once it stopped leaking!
And I say micro/nano cause I don't real know the difference. I just wrap a tiny coil haha
