Gave them another try today, after prepping another atomizer to make sure it wasn't any residual taste messing me up.

RY4: Definitely sweet on the inhale, but I'm still not getting any discernible flavor. Jury still out.

555: I saw a reviewer mention a 'peanut butter' taste...I think I agree.

Kent: Still doesn't have any sort of tobacco taste at all, to me.

Overall verdict: I think I may be spoiled....

You may not be using the right supplier. Ruyan Direct's Kent and RY4 are well liked and supported by most who use them. Many users have stated that Kent is one of the closes to the real thing. On the other hand, I never liked Johnson Creek liquid finding it very bland or strange tasting.

I agree with everyone else ... the old TC and Kona were great! The new TC and Espresso ... bleh. Summer Peach ... bleh. I never got to try the old peach cobbler, but it must have been better than this.

Well I'm thankful I stocked up on the TN Cured.... Scared to try the new version as it is my daily smoke now.... BUMMER!! I have a small one TN Cured V.2... Scared to try! I tried the new Espresso and it wasn't the Kona coffee flavor I'd hoped for, not offensive but not Kona.

I emailed about the Choc. Almond last week as I was really bummed after I fell in love with the sample...went to order some and it was GONE! I received the following response:

Hey there Laurel!

Thanks for the email. I'd encourage you to try out our Chocolate Truffle, I think you'll find it as good (and better!) than our Chocolate Almond Decadence. We have a pretty fantastic return policy if you end up not liking it.

Sadly, we do not have any Chocolate Almond Decadence in stock.

I was too hoping that enough emails would come in that some of the favs would be returned to original formulas or close as possible. I at first thought they were just getting the tobacco off the list in prep for FDA stuff. Then I also noted that Choc Almond was only nut flavor and thought maybe pulled so it wouldn't bother those with nut allergies.

I just want my favs back!

Laurel, The new TC does not even smell like the old.
You may like it,but I do not. The Summer peach is pretty good. Well I am going to add this. I have been vaping the Summer Peach and went and got my old bottle of Peach cobbler and Peach Cobbler is must better.

I just placed an order for JC's Chocolate Truffle. I too loved their Choc. Almond and I still have some left. I'm going to compare them when it comes in and will let you all know what I think, probably later this week. I emailed JC and let them know I was not a happy camper concerning the changes. They have not responded.

This is really stupid for the seller to just change the liquid formula and keep the same flavor name. I created a post with some suggestions on labeling standards that should be used by all sellers, and the flavor formula and name consistency is one of them. I was very disappointed with the JC TC. I have attempted to cut it with 50% straight PG and I still got an overpowering vanilla?? taste. I then tried a 30% TC with 50% straight PG and 20% Arctic Mint. Not much luck getting rid of the taste in the TC. The jury is still out on the original JC juice. It doesn't have the overpowering vanilla taste, but there is something different about it. Whatever thaey are using on the TC cured is awlful strong. I was just going through all my bottles and now have that TC smell on my hands. Just from picking up the bottle to move it. Sheesh!!

Yes I noticed this on my hands, a bad smell. I am cleaning my atomizers today for the flavor will not leave. I soaked them in lemon juice and water for a few minutes. I hope this removes the flavor.

I have to say that the Tennessee Cured has been my staple vape. I really loved it. I am not happy at all with the reformulation. It has a strong cough syrup taste to me. Has anyone tried a liquid from another brand that would be a good match for the old formula Tennessee Cured?

Yeah I liked the old Tenn Cured--wasn't sweet--just smoky. Who needed another sweet tobacco flavor anyway? Market research gone mad if you ask me.
