had a reply from the vendor , haha these are fake as fake can come. they charge in 4 hours? 3,000 mahin 4 hours, my 25rs take about 6 to 7.

Here is the vendors reply .

Could you please send me the order number for this order so we can look into this as if the batteries have been purchased from Pure Trading they will be 100 percent Genuine as we only purchase from LG directly.

I look forward to receiving your order number so that I can look into this.

I really don't think you can consider them fake just because they charge in 4 hours. I bought all of my 3000 mAh hg2 batteries from a very reputable supplier and they don't take 6 or 7 hours to charge. I am not saying that yours are or aren't fake but I don't think you can base it on charging time

Yeah but they don't even give me half a day power when my lower mah 25rs give me a full day. I would still say im pretty certain rhese are dodgy , but ive never had 18650s that charge in 4 hours on my charger either.

Well, I have had batteries charge fast, but that's primarily because I rarely drain my batteries all the way down.

Same here @Eskie I finally had to change the battery in my pico. Checked it with my meter and it was down to 3.2. That is the lowest I have ever run a battery down.

I just don't think a battery can be considered fake because of charge time. I could be totally wrong though. I do know that there are a lot of fakes floating around out there so I do understand the OP's concern because of run time. That would be a red flag for me too.

How long do they usually take to charge?

I run mine flat untill it says weak battery on my pico, on my rx i run them to about 10% so that may be why. I fly rc petrol planes to which utilize 18650s and they charge in about 4 hours from 25 % on the same charger.

Not saying they are real or fake but also remember that when you go higher mah that you get lower max discharge amperage. So if you are drawing alot of amps they will discharge pretty fast. You can get a good idea of how this works reading mooches blog. As far as the boxes if he buys in bulk he may not get them with boxes. There is a local guy here that does this with lawn mower oil filters. He then orders boxes super cheap to his specs and resells them. They are the real deal filters just in a generic box. So you can't judge them off the packages. This is why you see on here so many times to buy your batteries from reputable sources though because then there is no doubt.
