So, I started out this journey with a basic ego twist I got from a local shop with a mini protank 2. I loved that setup and it worked great, My dad also got an ego twist but got the Protank 3. I have since bought a sigelei 20w now and got the Protank 3 just the other day they let me trade my twist in for it since it was having some issues. I enjoy the Protank 3 it is reading at 2.0 ohm on the sigelei and I am running it at about 12.5-13 watts on the sigelei and getting good vapor and flavor, however I think I want to venture into something a little bit more as far as tanks go. I can get an Ithaka clone from a shop by me right now for not too much and it looks so nice on the sigelei and they would help me set it up to begin with. I was wondering for the sigelei and coming from a protank 3 what out there would possibly give me more vapor and even better flavor. I am still learning a lot and willing to learn. They also have a Kayfun there too but I thought on the sigelei it is almost too tall the shorter form factor of the ithaka is alot nicer. I also think I like the idea of a dual coil setup. I am probably not going to be doing to much rebuilding either or messing with different ohm ratings. I just kinda want to get something that I can setup the way I want it and have the flexibility to do stuff with if I ever need to and is also going to perform great.

Any input would be great thanks.

Well if you don't want to rebuild stay away from the Ithaca and the Kayfun, you have to make your own coils and rewick both of them. They will both give great vape and flavor but require upkeep. If you are looking for "plug n play" I would suggest either the Aspire Nautilus (if you can find one) or the Kangar Aerotank. With those 2 you just pop in a new premade coil and continue on your merry vaping may.

We've got two main tanks, the Aspire BDC, use a 1.8 ohm coil on it, and a Hypertank than we run at 2.1 ohms. Both are good. the hypertank holds 5 ml and is convenient if you're vaping something you really like. Both of ours have pyrex tanks, so tank cracking juices are not an issue. The coils for both are readily available and not too expensive. On occasion I will also us an HH 357 long barrel atomizer for dripping something new or if I want a short term change.

IMO, pyrex / borosilicate glass carto tanks like Phiniac or Ibtanked are a big improvement over any clearomizer.
No rebuilding, about as leak free as vaping gets, excellent flavor, vapor & Th, several different carto manufactures to chose from with several resistance choices, single & dual coil, halfling, standard & xl size to choose from.

It's not that I don't want to rebuild or am opposed to it, it's that once I have it setup the way I want it I most likely won't tinker with it other than upkeep. I want something that I can take advantage of the higher wattage of the sigelei. Better flavor and more vapor than the protank 3 would be nice too.

I recommend a cartotank. You'll get more flavor and consistancy than any clearomizer. Initial setup will take a few minutes longer priming the carto, but thereafter refilling the tank only takes 30 seconds. The pre-punched cartomizers will last 2 - 3 weeks and need to be replaced like the coil head in a clearomizer does.

IBTanked Cartotanks - Review

Best overall vape (flavor & vapor production; very smooth) I've had has been from a new Kayfun Lite +, a rebuildable tank atomizer that I received last week. It works on the same negative pressure setup of a cartotank, but you do have to build wire coils and use either cotton or silica wick.

Coiling & Wicking a Kayfun is easy... once you learn just how to place the wick and fill it without flooding the damn thing... it take me about 10 min to clean. coil and re-wick one.

The only thing that has me leaning away from the kayfun towards the Ithaka is the kayfun is so much taller and with the sigelei 20w makes for a gigantic device, it also doesn't look as good as the Ithaka does

Kayfun clone would be your best bet performance wise but it is a rebuildable

I am alright with it being rebuildable. I have to go compare the kayfun and Ithaka again put them both on my Sigelei 20w and see if the kayfun is too big or not. The Ithaka also looks so much nicer not sure if there is going to be a big difference in performance between the two. Either of them should outperform my pt3
